Most if not all glove stocks down recently due to sentiment but not fundamentals. Believe the ADR of TG surged for a reason , because this glove sector has been grossly oversold . Time to reverse ! | ||||

Depends on personal holding power and market conditions Long positions on CFD or contra buys on a bull market will get you a lot of profits if timed correctly In the event if you get into such positions especially CFD long positions (contra is limited to 3 days only), but things don' t work out in the short term Maybe minimum to no movements or dips, that is when your holding power comes in You will need to either remove or lower your auto close position and keep topping up if you wish to continue holding on If not, they will execute auto sell once the price dips too low or if your cash runs out Even if the price doesn' t move, CFD will charge you daily interest roughly around 2.8% pa, so you will need to watch your cash balance too These won' t be really a problem if you are careful and have the holding power The advantage after all these disadvantages is that you will have leverage I think is called margin rate if I didn' t remember wrongly At 10%, means you just need to have 1k cash to trade 10k worth of the stock, if you have 10k you can trade up to 100k worth of stocks At 20%, you wiill need 2k cash for 10k, or 50k worth of stocks if you have 10k cash Different stock different rates When the amount of stocks you can trade increases, the profits (or loss) can jump a lot with every 1 cent jump So if you have a lot of confidence (be it from your research or insider news etc) and knows how the share price will move, you may earn a lot You may also lose a lot too if your info on the market turns out wrong Not for the weak hearted though DYODD, not recommended for newbies, more for the informed and experienced traders (not investors)

Everytime a glove company reports something it affects the rest too. I think some were disappointed with Top Glove result comparing quarter by quarter. Also Factory cannot operate 100% due to covid so perhaps about 50 to 60% they operate. Overall they are making good profits eventhough Top Glove has a bit of problem in the USA but it is being resolved. But good to be careful in investments as some of the members have pointed out.

This is one of the stocks that dropped more than the other glove stocks recently ...before that was holding quite well. Im not sure of the reason but analyst have been downgrading some glove stocks eventhough they are making good money. Assumption could be with the increase in vaccinations the demand for gloves will be less and also more players entering the market. Also prices have been stabilizing . But the fact remains that the Glove companies are doing great. Still as for stock prices we may just have to follow the trend unless it drops too low ...or goes up too high | ||||
