All gloves companies in Malaysia went through the same market condition of dropping ASPs, high raw material and manpower costs and MCO or lockdowns in Malaysia. Some companies were able to handle the situation better than the others, largely due to their company management, biz model and specialised gloves or products etc. Look at the last 3 recent qtrs results for all the 3 gloves companies, we can see how they perform and predict their future earnings trajectory. RS managed to maintain rev and net profits over the last 2 qtrs. Increased ASP for healthcare gloves 4% recently. Maintain high ASP for cleanroom gloves. UG last qtr rev increased over previous (v good sign) and net profits maintained over last 3 qtrs. OBM model supported their sales and profits. They are still expanding their distribution network and salesforce which will grow higher rev and profits imo. Trading at low PE of about 3 times. TG rev and net profits dropped qoq over all the last 3 qtrs and still not out of the woods yet. Coming qtr results tomor will have more visibility going fwd. All gloves companies are making money every qtrs but UG and RS are net cash companies while TG has debts. So thats why UG and RS and not TG atm.. Dyodd as always..

Longtermer, noticed you mentioned UG and RS but not TG Guess TG and RS are in the same sector. TG hq is Seremban Malaysia vs RS hq in SG. Question why you pick RS ?

RS makes about 10c per yr. With ASP moving up 4% according to sources, the worse is over. With huge cash and trading at only 7 times, can see more up than down. UG and RS will outperform market imo. Dyodd as always. Cheers. |

After adding the dividends and if did not sell, the support should be 0.59 + 0.12 = 0.71

Technically speaking it should, its previous declined after breaking support line A was a 1 cent dropped a day which is the worst kinda of declined, bleeding slowing and people usually delay taking action. I have next support at 67/68c.

Glove trend aside, as a individual company, RS fundamental is strong. Management making good decision and attitude are bonuses.
I will give a TP of 9xc..... Negative glove trend seens to subside as those traders been distracted by other counter as market in turbulent now. |

Read RS' s Sustainability Report that was published on SGX' s company announcement. Looks impressive and certainly augers well for the company. Should stand out among it' s peers as the ESG issues remain a challenge for many glove manufacturers. | ||||

Volume too low daily n recently to able to form a trend in my opinion. If down the day u often see it jump back up at closing. Someone contra or short at the look of it and do safety cover back before close.
Fundamental wise just check out RS import of cleanroom glove to US look decent. The US import record shown up to date till Apr though. How I know is cleanroom u may ask, I search the company who import n see they selling cleanroom product. |

If its of any use... Riverstone is trading within its down channel failing twice at the resistance line. To change that trend it has to break above as labelled by the green up arrow. To avoid further weakness it has to stay above diagonal support line B, a break below it could weaken its technical outlook just like when it broke down the diagonal support line A, see red down arrows. Cheers.

Am able to add more on 735 after receiving the dividend. Look like it doing a good jump on closing last Friday and continue to move up today.
Let see after sentiment settle down can it go any further up. |
