Thanks. Starhub and Netlink are separate entity. Starhub cannot do the chasing or follow up for you. It can only confirm that  their side is OK. This is the problem when there are two service  providers. Under the old cable system, Starhub would have no problem checking both ends. Netlink is in the wrong this time for saying that their side is ok.   |

I empathize with you. 7-day downtime is absolutely not acceptable. If you have done everything and nothing draws their attention, I would suggest you post your case on social media such as Starhubs website. It worked for me when I had a problem with a newly  purchased washing machine. The VP turned up and apologized,  after reading my angry post on social media.

Telecommunications company StarHub has launched its new digital loyalty programme, StarHub Rewards, to provide customers with lifestyle benefits. These include shopping and dining deals across a variety of merchants. As part of this launch, customers will also receive SG$1 treats by StarHub every Saturday until the end of the year. Speaking to Marketing,  Johan Buse, chief of consumer business group, StarHub said the all-digital rewards programme was launched to address two major customer pain points &ndash hassle of redeeming physical vouchers and long waiting time to accumulate rewards points. The telco said to Marketing that it aims to attain increased customer satisfaction. Based on the latest national Customer Satisfaction Index of Singapore (CSISG) study, the telco added that customers&rsquo satisfaction levels saw improvements, with StarHub being the most-improved for mobile, coming in first for broadband, and emerging top in TV for the sixth consecutive year. As part of the new StarHub Rewards, the telco has also rolled out membership tiers to simplify enrolment and give customers clarity on the benefits. Membership status and benefits can be accessed through the My StarHub app, and customers will be moved up the tiers depending on their expenditures.  &ldquo Our customers live in an instant world, and to reward them with what they need and deserve, we will continue working hard to challenge the norms and deliver products, services and experiences,&rdquo Buse said. |

I have been with starhub for more then 15years.. And still get this types of treatment...today is the 7 days that my Wi-Fi now and there still no further actions. Already email to their hod on Friday but still no use. Will request IMDA to assist me.

I am a happy and long-term user of Starhub, During my current 2-yr contract which expires this week, it has never failed me once. The price for fibre broadband is now halved, as compared to my current contract. I will certainly continue with Starhub. I was a user of Singtel prior to switching to Starhub. Technology wise, they are the same. Both will have localized and unique problems like the one who complained here. People switch because  of price, period.   |

My starhub Wi-Fi down since Monday..till now they still unable to restore. I have reported my home Wi-Fi down and a service guy came down on Tues am and confirmed not their problem. The issue was refer to cable provider and they confirmed the line got no problem, pending for a joint inspection with starhub. No updates for me till Friday i called, starhub will try to arrange a joint inspection on Sat am and will update me by 6pm Friday... I ever call their cable provider to assist me but was told no request from starhub. I called back starhub and he told me... Can't you wait till 6pm, we sure give you an update. Till Sunday.. No updates no Wi-Fi.. I have wrote to their HOD to look into the matters and will request IMDA for assist if Monday Wi-Fi still down on Monday night.. 7days after I reported to starhub. I will confirm will switch to Singtel or m1 upon my contract expire. Feel IMDA should look into more strict regulations on service providers if we really want to go into smart nation. What should I do to get my Wi-Fi restore asap, my request is simple. Any suggestions thanks | ||||

No wonder the pricing keep increasing with no much values added. Corporate discount reduce from 30% to 20%. Early recontract fee of $300. Previously under XL plan, there is no early recontract fee. No more shareplus plamln, thus have to change to SIM only plan which cost more. If I proceed with the recontract, my monthly fee will $240+ from current $180+ with 2 lines of share plus. Like many die-hard customer, I feel disappointed and will switch when my contract expired next year. Price increase without adding much values is like cooking mee to gain instant result. In general, consumers are sensitive to price increase during economic uncertainy. It is interesting to look at the organic growth for the next few quarters. . | ||||
