x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Thanks for a very good analysis.  The aim of an inestor is to grow with the company.  Oceanus is a good company with sound fundamentals.  It is worth staying with it to allow our investments to grow mondaybluesy      ( Date: 30-Mar-2021 10:53) Posted: Possibly, but that would be more of your corporate than institutional players.  Corporate players being your individual family officers / wealth individuals could guise their activities behind the corporate structures and accounts.  Such a move is possible (though unlikely) as they are investing their own monies.  I can imagine they would want to do so to further scare weak retail hands out of the market to accumulate low.    Buying whilst a company is on SGX watchlist and selling once it gets confirmation for its exit, is difficult to be accepted as a financially prudent and sound investment proposal for a licensed institution (in hedge funds, EAMs, etc.).  The analyst typically provides his research and proposed long / short position to the manager, who then makes the call considering the firm' s objectives, investment viability, and regulatory concerns.  It is risky and the institiution have to provide an explanation to its end clients why it decided to do so if the price continues rallying and it loses money in the short position.  As you can imagine, it will be a tough pill to swallow. Remember, Oceanus has posed excellent earnings quarter-on-quarter growth and I believe everyone expects it to continue to do so.  The logical end goal is not to destroy the share price but to maximise capitalising on the company' s growth.  That is, to buy and accumulate as cheap as possible. What I hope for is a gradual and steady slow movement upwards, with renewed institutional interest and announcements.  That would be the most healthy in the long-run.
