You have to understand that the ability of dividend will be kept cooking till it cannot pay, it will be end of the day of this counter with huge debt with them.
If they are not a trust not need to keep paying dividend, they may be a good company with profit. But too sad. The debt is already roll till unacceptable level.

Fully avoid this counter. The pump mainly due to maintain dividend payment.
However they pay it with debt and loan. It will be end up like rickmer Maritime trust. This is absolutely a wrong trust to hold. Price shall not visit back above 60. Be prepared free falling after XD date. |

Also have to note that as recent as last month it was trading around 0.45. So to see it shoot up to touch 0.60 so quickly should have been warning sign to take profit and run. For this to go below 0.50 before div is issued won' t be surprising.

Time to take profit and re enter at a lower price - calculate how much you can make selling off a portion of your holdings versus the divvie you will receive and make a value judgement from there.

In a way, I' m also glad (sorry, guys) to be able to reload at lower price. As for the well-known deep dive after XD, i' m prepared that things may be diffferent (as in dive may not be that steep anymore) as the current trend is now UP. So let' s wait and see.

Wait till post XD, how the price behave. this stock is " famous" for its pre and post XD dives. Wouldn' t be surprised to see sub 50 after XD |

This is very common for APTT. Just look at its previous price action. Don' t think there' s any news. Just XD gonna be next week, that' s all.

APTT has this trend of dropping before XD instead of going up. So many people temporarily offloaded. Me too at 59. I will slowly reload again. | ||||

Good article write-up by SmallCapAsia! I agree with the author on the views on APTT. However, we must also note that was APTT's previous performance from its old manager which is now changed to a new ownership under Mr Lu, described as a veteran in the industry APTT operates in. So, I will continue to monitor APTT's performance under the new ownership and new CEO. Watch their next quarter's and this year's results for updates on where they are heading to see if there are further potential upsides. Those with paper profits now are already protected with good margin of safety to ride on the new manager's performance going forward if they can do a better job than previous manager.
