Many of the buyers, mostly women, were seen flocking to goldsmiths across the state, despite some businesses remaining closed as today is the weekend in Kelantan. A check at the Siti Khadijah wet market revealed that customers began visiting these shops as soon as they learned about the price hike. They started arriving as early as 9.30am, when shops began to open. |

KOTA BARU: Kelantan records monthly gold sales of around 500kg, driven largely by its women, known as ' Mek Kelate,' who buy gold for jewellery or savings. Utusan Malaysia reported that Kelantan' s gold sales surpass those in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur combined, which amount to only 400kg. Taman Emas Malaysia chairman Zulkifli Idris estimated the monthly gold sales in Kelantan at about RM200 million, based on current gold prices. " Kelantanese people view gold as a form of savings, which fuels the strong demand for jewellery," he said. |

The Board wishes to announce that the Proposed Expansion has been completed and that the newly-expanded CIL plant has commenced trial production following successful equipment and system testing. The total cost of the Proposed Expansion was within the estimated cost of RM9.0 million and was fully funded through the Company&rsquo s internal resources. With this full commissioning, the newly-expanded CIL plant designed to operate alongside the existing 500 tonnes per day plant will be capable of processing an additional 300 tonnes1 of gold-bearing ore per day. This brings the total processing capacity to approximately 800 tonnes1 per day, representing a 60% increase over the current daily processing capacity. | ||||

Meanwhile, US consumer prices unexpectedly fell in March, leading traders to bet that the Fed will resume rate cuts in June and potentially lower its policy rate by a full percentage point by year-end. However, inflation risks remain tilted to the upside after Trump doubled down on China tariffs. For the week, gold is on track for its best performance since last November. |

In such a time as this unstable market, Gold is unstoppable, another record US$3,211/oz now! Look like Gold standard is near against US dollar or Fiat currency! Hope CNMC can close at 39c! The 1m + shares selling at 38.5c is not real . What that is real is gold price breaking record after record! It' s just matter of time Analysts would upgrade CNMC targets price ! |

Gold just broke US$3,200/oz to 3,210/oz, CNMC would be literally printing money with the 60% increase in processing capacity. It share price could break 40c in early next week. It' s a very good new for real gold mine investor. | ||||

Strangely, this announcement is made during noon, so as to induce more buy up to absorb the pending sale of another at least 2m lots which is evident from the sell q. Whether can go up further will depend on if the buying up demand is at least 2 times of this 2m at 38 and above. 37 cannot break bearing in mind on sell on news from insider. Notwithstanding, gold price at historic high is a gd cushion for the first support which is around 36.5 to 37.

CNMC Goldmine Holdings Price target: PhillipCapital &lsquo buy&rsquo 49 cents Record gold prices plus higher production volume PhillipCapital&rsquo s Paul Chew and Liu Miaomiao have initiated coverage on CNMC Goldmine Holdings with a &ldquo buy&rdquo call and a target price of 49 cents. In their April 1 note, the analysts believe that the Malaysia-based gold miner will likely see earnings grow by 46% y-o-y to US$17.9 million ($24.05 million) for the current FY2025 ending Dec 31, thanks to higher production volume and gold prices. &ldquo Gold prices have remained at multi-year highs since the beginning of 2024, and the market remains bullish on the 2025 outlook amid heightened geopolitical tensions and aggressive central banks purchase,&rdquo state Chew and Liu. &ldquo CNMC stands to be a key beneficiary, selling gold at spot prices. We expect the average selling price to increase by at least 18% y-o-y to US$2,900,&rdquo they add. In addition, CNMC is seen as a leveraged play on rising gold prices as it ramps up production capacity this year. They estimate the company to generate $34 million per year in free cash flow over the next ten years, implying a free cash flow yield of 24%.
