Yoma' s nav is approx usd 30c or sgd 40c. Now trading at only 10% of nav. Exposure to sovereign and jurisdictional risk. Otherwise business model remain intact and unchanged, Hopefully peace can return sooner than later. Good luck to bottom fishing risk takers.

Wondering what is the Junta holidng on to...They wanted and all they do is for Democracy. Losing the ground and keep holding for dont know what? Severely undervalued. Yoma Strategic Market Cap: 92mil SGD Net Asset Value: 577mil SGD (424mil USD @ 30.09.2023) 1. Unrecognised revenue from ongoing projects stood at US$173.4 million as at Dec 31, 2023, up from US$65.2 million as at Sep 30, 2023 2. Yoma Strategic buying 87.5% stake in Edotco Myanmar Ltd (EMM) for USD150m (RM713m) in cash. Yoma Strategic buying this stake at a good price. Estimated sale valuation of 1.2x FY23 EV/EBITDA. This implies a discount versus Malaysian peer OCK, which is currently trading at 6.1x FY23 EV/EBITDA, and owns c. 1,200 towers in Myanmar with estimated book value of USD100m. Meanwhile, this sale also translates to a discount vis-à -vis Indonesian tower operators that currently trade at 10x FY24F EV/EBITDA. 3. Edotco stake + Yoma land + Wave Money + Yoma F& B + Yoma Fleet + Yoma Motors, all increasing revenue, worth much more than current market cap. dyodd. just vested, buying more. |
