If they dont make announcement tonight, i guess it will still remain suspended tomorrow. Wonder why the delay in announcing? Maybe terms are still being negotiated and there are worries about leaks | ||||

This sick and under nourish child needs a new mother to nurture her to good health. Current CEO is running out of ideas and appears lethargic. Typical problem with owner/CEO who cannot let go of control (trust). An honest revamp of the management team is long overdue if Hylux is to return to it?s glory days. Perhaps a merger will kick start the company by way of new money and new ideas.We can only hope for the best.It will be a sad day if another great Singapore company ends up a basket case. | ||||

Hyflux was reported non profitable for a full 5 years. As to the reason regarding the halt, it could probably be just a so-so announcement or a grim news. Privatisation or buy-out is definitely out of the equation. Friday' s prices fell / remained the same. Good luck any ways.

Must understand that the deal was probably stuck over the weekend so last Friday no selling down or buying up, just a normal weak market reaction. And negotiation or finalising details carry on through to today and next few days
