The average annual turnover for the Korean big 3 yards is currently about S$12 to 18 billion. The current turnover for Seatrium is about S$8+billion. The turnaround time for their new built project is less than 2yrs as they are building more LNG carriers than FPSOs (4yrs turnaround). That' s why Samsung Heavy,' s share price, the no.2 yard in Korea, is up 41% over the past year. And bearing in mind Seatrium is a combination of 2 major yards.

If really need 40B order book to be sustainable, frankly speaking share price reach $1.30, I also feel expensive 😂 . If I not wrong, none of the Korea peers have 40B of order book yet.

A problem is order book too low. Need around $40 billion to be sustainable. Yesterday was the share buy back day for the week. No more share buy back for this week liao. Waiting at 144.

Another round of share buyback today - Wednesday? Looks like the buyback volume reducing even the price has fallen below each prior buyback. Not that effective... needs to step up the volume and the frequency of the buyback to fight against the short sellers. | ||||

Yes the management is primarily impotent. All they need to do is to clarify if the investigation pertains to legacy case or otherwise.
If such clarification is done, the price will immediately bounce back to 170 and keep it there till the H1 performance which will give it the fillip to 190. Till now, management is as good as defunct and derelict. |
