Now shouldn?t see shortists anyhow sell down though $0.965 proved to be stubborn resistance but time is on the long side esp with 1H results releasing soon cum spin off in progress as well as the relatively large stake of YZJF AVDV is holding. SGX is finally doing something with such disclosure. Hope more fund/etf is doing or thinking to do the same.

Gearing too high lah no choice and want to save money keep issuing scrip dividends. Not long ago buy JEM now sell JEM and manager keep pocketing acquistion and divestment fees, win liao. ONLY thing good is now gearing drop to 35% quick shout from the top of the mountain. However, be cautious, if sponsor throw Parkway Parade into this reit then personally that will be the last straw on camel back and I will bail.

Today' s price actions alone seems to also suggest BBs are trying to shake off some weak holders. $0.96 is a clear resistance now with strong strong supports from $0.93 to $0.945. Dont have to care what price will it close today, I am sure closer and or after results release plus further spin off news/developments should propel the share price higher up! Be patient long holders!

Should have no problem withstand the test of new support $0.91 to $0.935 if comes to that. Technical aside, the fundamentals of YZJF is also very strong with spin off and apparently fast growth of maritime businesses. NAV is $1.167. DI may be also turning a corner with China focusing on stimulating the domestic economic especially consumption. Consumption mean buyings, a lof of buyings so hopefully the China property sector can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. How long more before the market/BBs try $1? This is my speculation, and I could be wrong, but I think it is a reasonable assumption because a sub-par 1H25 will negatively impact on the spin off valuation appraisal and will almost certain to derail a supposedly intended positive spin off outcome for both the new listed entities. (C) should follow shortly after 1H25 release, with the Circular detailing the new capital structures and revenues/earnings projections for both the Legacy and new spin off coy. I have given some thoughts on the probable capital structures of YFH and YMD but I have little clue on how to appraise YMD on its earning trajectory. It' s ok as I needed to recycle and redeploy the fund within certain time frame. SingPost has various properties on its book and most valuable of them all is SingPost Centre. There are reports that they may shift its SingPost Centre operations to Tampines logistic centre and this will free up SingPost Centre for sale or for lease, either way it should unlock value to shareholders. The natural gap support prove strong but it would be even better if it had tested $0.845 to close the gap. Should gyrate around $0.845, $0.865, $0.88, $0.895, $1! Hope to see stupendous 1H25 results in Aug 25 to take down $1!!

Though didn' t add more but happy with the size of my holding and will continue to watch this space. I think can take down $1.7 - $1.8 levels but after that hard to say.

x 1   x 0  Alert Admin	I can sense your ' fear' of price running up too fast! I echo your view but having said that, it is no denial that we the retailers are less informed no matter what. Those BBs and insiders have intimate knowledge of the company and they are the ones who will always be the ones driving the prices. We only know spin off is getting more concrete now [news first broke in Feb via The Edge, then official announcement in Apr thru SGX, then announcement of incorporation of spin off company on 2 July], however, BBs and insiders should know much more. Maybe 1H25 results is going to see much higher profit yoy with more contribution from maritime businesses thus the anticipated higher valuation of the spin off company post spin off? It is sound to be fearful of price running up without fundamentals and I have to admit that I don' t know but I trust the continuous assessments of the company all this while and I trust the market. If there is value to realise, the market would accord the value accordingly as in the case of Boustead, Centurion, LHN and to a lesser extend, Wee Hur and SingPost etc so far. Anyway, for the past 2-3 years, we have been ' fearful' of price not going up so if we have to choose, I rather be ' fearful' of price running up too fast. At current price, the yield is no longer that attractive as it stand at 3.85% [.345/.895] so if market still demand at least 5% of yield, then it is expected that YZJF' s eps should go up to at least 12 cents so a payout of 4.8 cents would see 4.8% yield if the share price hit $1. x 1   x 0  Alert Admin	I would think many may have missed the boat and quite a number may have exited already too, judging from the ' barometer' of the forumers' participation in this thread. It is much quieter now as compare to those ' tumultuous' days where everyone has different views. It did creep up in my mind with regard to exit point but I would be patient, after learning from my lesson from Sembcorp and Centurion, just to name a few. Personally I would seriously consider exit point only after spin off materalised and or the share price steady at above $1. It may or may not come to that but even if the share price stay in current level, with dividend yield on cost of close to 10% [some may even have it at excess of more than 10%!], there is really no hurry to exit. With old Ren trying to create value for shareholders and in the process, going back to doing what he knows best [taking over VT], we already can see some results so given time, I think he can unlock even more value for shareholders. Hopefully market can re rate YZJF favourably with spin off taking place, besides YSB, LHN, there are many other examples, such as Centurion and Boustead. Though it isn' t like for like but the principle behind the corporate excerise is the same, which is to unlock value for shareholders. Centurion has gone up more than 1 fold and Boustead a cool 40% so why not YZJF? I am optimistic too but let' s wait for 1H25 results and see whether we have more reasons to be even more optimistic.  volvo125      ( Date: 04-Jul-2025 00:40) Posted: I believe, on the back of all the Long investors mind here, the million dollar question now is how far could this YFH price goes up before the spin off ex-date. This is really a million dollar question for me. I could exit today with a very decent net profit in excess of $3mil, or I could choose to tank through the ongoing roller coaster till or any time near ex-date to " possibly" reap another $1~2mil additional profit, or even go further and participate into the spin off to tap on to the new combined YFH and YMD next phase growth journey and possibly realise even more future gains. Taking reference from the earlier 2022 YSB spin off exercise, YSB NAV was $1.96, the highest price closed was $1.64 (or 84% of NAV), and the last day closed price was $1.54 just before ex-date spin off (or 78.5% of NAV). Now with YFH NAV at $1.17 and STI in a very bullish mood > 4000, the highest price could well probably be > > $0.98 (> > 84% NAV) and the last day close might be > > 0.92 (> > 78.5% NAV). Taking another coy, LHN, with plan for listing for reference. LHN price was on a steep 2 months+ downtrend and hovering around $0.40 or 64.5% NAV. News on spin off was released on 15 Apr and price climbed steadily in the past ~3 months to $0.72 or 1.16x NAV today. STI bullish > 4000 could be a major mood factor that helps to push LHN to 1.16% NAV. Between 84% ~ 116% NAV, It is really up to the individual investor to decide on his exit point or even go on to participate on the spin off, depending on his risk attitude and appetite.   One immediate consideration to note is the forthcoming 1H25 update releasing in early to mid Aug. The 1H result and tone could accelerate or derail the ongoing price climb. Since YFH chosed to positively reiterate its spin off progress on 2 Jul after the 1H close, I am optimistic that the 1H result will likely be good or at least " not bad" in order to support the mood of the proposed spin off. I hope I am not that far wrong, I am optimistic.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	3 years since and to be exact, 3 years 3 months elapsed and what a turn around. We have seen the lowest price of $0.285 and today, it closed at ATH of $0.845. Long investors can' t say they didn' t have the opportunities to accumulate, as it has traded for the longest time in $0.3x series even with today' s price, the 52-week low is still $0.32!!! If all goes well, by the 5 years mark, YZJF will become YZJF and YZJMaritime Development, 2 companies post spin off. Thankfully old Ren took back control of YZJF, the transformation is not over yet and as a shareholder I am glad he has skin in the game, as he only collected 60k salary for FY24 and bulk of his income came from the dividend just like any other ordinary sharholders.  HVRRVH      ( Date: 30-Apr-2024 20:18) Posted: Have given this stock 3-5 years, timeline remain the same. Average cost 34.5, so far collected .18+.22   = 4 cents. So theoritically cost price is 30.5 cents, which put it just above water line. So far lowest YZJF got to was 28.5 cents if my memory serves me right thanks to VT news. Another counter in fightable position, I like. If price stay the same and dividend stay the same, next year will be profitable by 7.2%, working: 0.022 / 30.5. Will add again if the price touches 30 cents or below. If not, all is well.
