I buy Suntec reit mainly because of their endemic strategy which I can' t figure out how they are doing to do it? I myself also don' t know how is it possible

IMO, Suntec is quite undervalued and overlooked Because of the uncertainties brought about by the covid developments and Suntec is amongst the hardest hit REITs Maybe only doing slightly better than hospitality REITs So when others are looking for opportunities to invest, they turned to semiconductors, fintech, healthcare etc As these are some of those that benefitted the most from the pandemic, highest chance to turn a profit in the shortest time I would say Suntec is a mid to longer term investment for it to see real profits And that would mean seeing life returning to a greater normalcy If not really free to keep monitoring and doing frequent trading, this is a good stock to buy and throw under the pillow Just keep collecting the dividends, take it out once in a while to look at the share price and put it back under the pillow again If free to keep monitoring and keep trading, semiconductor seems to be one of the trending sectors now So every now and then I buy and throw under the pillow, and to me anything below $1.50 is a good buy for this counter That will be my personal take, DYODD though   |

this suntec reit is on my radar for a while but its price does not move that much everyday. my target buying price is 1.42 but it has not reached that low for quite a few weeks........ will wait ........... | ||||

With global covid cases increasing, daily local covid cases also on the recent uprise... and the high gearing.. i will take a back seat for now.. there are plenty of better reits around to choose from.. in my humble opinion...

people also worry about the high debt versus asset. but for real estate the value of asset will go up with time unless there is a major event like covid-19. governing authority raised the debt level at the start of event. buy this more for long term div income. also diversify in sgd, gbp, aud. no need to risk all in sgd asset. think range is around 142 to 163. dyodd |

many analyst also cited the danger of us stock crashing base on the high and how many years it has raised. really noone can be sure. let see the fact.  so many people fear so not all money is in. esp when the saving rates in us is up. us gov want to raise more money for the infra build the last thing they need is a market crash the pump will be able to get as much cash they need. inerest rate measure is change to ave of (how long not k own) fed latest talk like saying tapering not in hurry and for interest rate up many many moons to go.  remember if they can they will keep it low as us gov borrow a lot. with fed printing to fill the need and at the 10,20,30 years debt they will keep it low for as long as possible. as that will keep their interest pay on debt lower. those expiring 30 years are in the range of 8%+ so one can see how much they are saving. although debt amt goes up but rate come down so net interest pay may not go up so much. so all in, my guess they will managed the market not to crash. minor correct 5% think possible. there has already minor minor correction along the way. until they get their cash for the budget |

I just want make a few thousand out of this suntec reit and sell. US stock market looking frightening like anytime will go into correction. Every one percent is a thousand plus. Just go up a few percent i want to sell already
