 Alert Admin 		I was thinking the same way too. Not sure how putting a sell order can prevent shares to be loaned out for custodian accounts since the shares belong to them. It's like putting your money in a bank - the bank can loan out your money as and when they like as long as there's liquidity.

OK  I withdraw point 5 - there rest is still useful to suppress short seller, no wasting time.
Some investors are so frustrated that they want to ELIMINATE the short sell

he forgotten brokerage have their own holding of shares and not necessary have to rely on investors. Brokerage firms do also borrow/loan from one another. 

Maybe he also intends to ask brokerage to ' put a sell order' on the counters hahaha

and he doesn' t seem to understand the shares in cdp is untouchable. Those in custodian isn' t under investors names but are under brokerage and that' s why brokerage can loan them out. Usually Somewhere under the terms and conditions when account holders sign up with brokerage of custodian, the account holders agreed that brokerage can loan out those shares

 Alert Admin 		The total number of shares is finite

When shares are place in Sell Order, the number held in custodian reduces. Hence less available for borrrowing.

One can also place Sell Order closer to the trading range but this will have increased chance of strike deal

According to my source who are industry player in rubber sector.. Malaysia lock down with 60% percent work force impact a lot small player.. because based on 60% worker unable to full operate and full capacity.. only big player can handle it...

The worry part is july cause Euro side the case increase a lot worry out of control.
