x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	the lost $$$ is peanut compare relative to the profits $$$ made for the past 10 yrs+ .... but the lost $$$ also comes with so many gain !!! Just look at the acquisitions and the increase of subsidiaries & associated companies for the past 2 yrs, included are a massive membrane producing plant in PRC & a quarry in Malaysia. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Tritech as a group is still showing losses is bec. the 2 new biz still needs to start contributing positively to the group .... but the specialist engineering group if left alone without the 2 new biz, the Engineering Business remains on a profitable track! It continues to secure new contracts consistently, Tritech never made losses from the many contracts, esp gov' t contracts. Tritech' s strategy of focusing on specialised engineering projects to leverage on its advanced technical knowledge and capabilities. Such projects typically face less competition and are less labour intensive which should help to relieve pressure on profit margins. Proposed Sewers in Woodlands Road Area https://www.gebiz.gov.sg/scripts/main.do?section=details   yewhuan      ( Date: 19-Aug-2014 19:41) Posted: http://infopub.sgx.com/FileOpen/TGL_Contract_Award_19Aug14.ashx?App=Announcement& FileID=310602 AWARD OF S$15.1 MILLION SEWER CONTRACT    The Board of Directors (&ldquo Directors&rdquo ) of Tritech Group Limited (the &ldquo Company&rdquo and together with its  subsidiaries, the &ldquo Group&rdquo ) wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Presscrete  Engineering Pte Ltd, had on 18 August 2014, been awarded a S$15.1 million contract, &ldquo Proposed  Sewers in Mandai Road Area&rdquo (the &ldquo Contract&rdquo ) by the Public Utilities Board.    The project location is in the vicinity of Mandai Road. The main scope of the Contract includes, inter  alia, the supply, delivery to site, storage, loading and unloading, laying, installation of polymer  concrete / vitrified clay pipes, reinforced concrete pipes, by pipe jacking method, the construction of  25 numbers of reinforced concrete manholes along the proposed sewer line, and the demolition of  Kranji Pumping Station and Lorong Asmara Solids Divertor.    The commencement date of the Contract is 26 August 2014 and the expected completion date is 25  August 2017. The defects liability period is 24 months after the completion date.    None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect,  in the Contract (other than through their shareholdings in the Company).    The Contract is not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated earnings per share  and/or net tangible assets per share of the Group for the current financial year ending 31 March 2015.        BY ORDER OF THE BOARD  Dr Wang Xiaoning  Managing Director    19 August 2014
