If war really broke out in the ME, more oil and gas to be pumped from other parts of the world e.g. Brazil etc. and Seatrium stands a very good chance to get more projects !!!

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I mentioned awhile back that it is unlikely for S51 to have a strong rebound in share price until this forum turns somewhat bearish. Seems we are approach that point. A major hindrance to S51 is that as long as Keppel is bogged down by its China/ Vietnam property troubles, there will always be supply of S51 holders that are tempted to sell their S51 to double down on their KC position. There are still about 8-10 billion seatrium shares in KC shareholders' hands that are eager to sell at marginally higher prices.  Keppel O& M has still to prove its worth to help Seatrium win at least 1 FPSO from the Petrobras P84/ P85 tender. If don' t win anything (not likely in my opinion), share price might move below 12 cents.  Keppel also have (based on last update) about 1+billion Seatrium shares to sell for their contingency fund. About the rights issue, not likely in 2024, but cannot rule out totally for 2025 when Seatrium will be facing liquidity challenge to complete the 4 Petrobras FPSOs in 2025/26. Also Temasek likely want to increase their Seatrium shareholding. What better way through buying at 1-2 cents via a heavily discounted rights issue. Can never trust Temasek from past experience. True, anything can happen but even if I don' t cut, I am still confident price will eventually move higher than my level given the weekly 200 MA trend. If fact good US counters, if you catch it right, you want to make 100% in 6 to 8 mths not difficult. Will stop here & not discuss AMD as it is not related to Seatrium. Looking at the 30 min chart, it is possible to test 103 before resuming up. So has said US stocks can be very volatile, not for the normal ppl who do not understand charting. But afraid I may miss the boat, I decided to try at 109 as price has already traded above the 50 MA. So price looks promising still & I believe it may restest the June 23 high. Currently,   it may face the hurdle at the 100 MA. The next few days once cleared, price is likely to continue its rally. Not a buy call. Just sharing other opportunities. The recent weakness of Seatrium, a bit disappointing. As said, with this correction, the 50 MA will now act as a kind of hinderence. It is likely to take a few weeks (2 to 4 weeks) before it can resume a decent uptrend.
