By buying open before offer go unconditional, they just invited vultures to join in the feast. Volume super weak as no investors prepared to sell tiĺ l letter out. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Logically , If CMA is successful in obtaining 90% , all short positions have to be covered and not the other way round. Because when CMA has 90% , it will lead to compulsary acquistion of all shares , so all short sellers have to buy back and return the shares. If CMA fails to obtain 90% , as long as short sellers willing to bear the borrowing costs ,open  short positions can be remained intact , why is there a need to cover the short positions ? sgng123      ( Date: 05-Jun-2016 16:39) Posted: Cos those big players got leverage for longer period of short which normal peep like us don get access to.

CMA is trapped in this one lol they make too much preparation like ocean aliance, bank credit support, antitrust approval and bond issue not to fail cos they unwilling to fork out a little bit more to buy out rest of investors,. Can always ask temasek to top up the diference since they the one who complicate this deal

Anyone saw the TigerAir share price when SIA try to aqquired during the 2nd offer , there are time it actually trade with better prices that the SIA offer price .
