They are doing well. Last night I witness it again. Bread shelves are mostly empty. Moreover bangkok's things are rising in cost n the people re much richer now. I believe the earnings will not be too bad despite the recent riots.

I' m in Bangkok now. Last night I was at Siam Paragon' s bread talk. Sales was pretty good. Some shelves were almost empty. Can' t understand why the shares is not moving much. |

BreadTalk : 1Q14 PATMI lags revenue growth In 1Q14, revenue grew 16.7% YoY S$140.4m while PATMI improved by 11.6% to S$1.8m. Revenue was in line as it made up 22.8% of our FY14 forecast, noting 1Q is typically the weakest quarter. However, PATMI came in below expectation as it only made up 11.5% of our full-year forecast. Moreover, we note that BreadTalk' s other income increased by S$1.9m to S$3.5m mainly due to receipts under the Singapore' s Wage Credit Scheme. If we were to strip away the increase in other income, we estimate 1Q14 PATMI to be S$1.1m, which would have seen a YoY decline instead. As BreadTalk' s earnings are back loaded, we opt to keep our forecast intact for now. We use an updated 20.1x PER and derive a new fair value estimate of S$1.12 (previous S$0.85). 1.60 shd be the target. Short term. Managmenet Management says 1b revenue by 2016. Think its possible hence scoop. Insitiution buying this stock recently. their model is like mac, just replicate. hence their pace and quality control muat be there if it has to be successful. suspect maybe takeover target. Anyway buy own risk. |
