I am with you. Xinfei and Airwell, both loss making segments of their business have been removed. I am optimistic of this stock. Looking forward to it crossing the 90c point as a first target. But it is worth more than that, in my opnion. Wait and see.

Any body optimistic on this stock as me? After getting rid of the albatross xinfei, it would be an eagle ready to soar. Recently able to recover some $10 million of its write-offsthat will add to its nav and FY earnings. Plus able to report profits in spite of the pandemic. Kwek LP may be the right guy to take the company forward, he being very opposed to CDL involvement in the Sincere saga, may mull a privatisation possibility. Looking forward to it soaring over a dollar.... :) |

Hong Leong Asia has been rather quiet after the run up to 86c, retreating to the 70s. Annual results posted showed profit jumped by 35.7% compared to 2019, to $46.7M, for owners of the company. Management is cautiously optimistic for 2021. These 2-3 days looks like it is starting to make a move again. |

Yuchai result today, HL Asia result tomorrow. What will it be? Is is going to start moving up? Above 80 after tomorrow? Wait and see. |

China Yuchai will be announcing their year end 2020 results on Feb 24. This is very important news for Hong Leong Asia because China Yuchai is their main profit driver. If results are good, we may see HL Asia rising to 90c and possibly above. Just my opinion, please dyodd. Vested. |

HL Asia today 0.69, again edging towards 70c. Last time reached 69.5c but failed to cross 70c. I think 4Q report going to be good. Anticipating good days with the disposal of long term loss makers Xinfei and Airwell. At its height, HL Asia was at $5. Vested, just info, not a call to buy or sell, please dyodd. |

Yes.. thanks for the background info on this. Very bullish techical chart. Crossing 0.71 is highly likely. These are the kind of money opportunties that people often missed out and surprised no one actually talk about it. | ||

Bleeders Henan Xinfei and Airwell have been removed. Crown jewel Yuchai is doing well in spite of Covid 19, and HL Asia continues to add to its ownership of Yuchai. Buiilding materials segment is improving and hopefull should contribute significantly to bottomline. Chairman Kwek Leng Pech has bought close to 3M shares from the market in the last few days. Should cross 70c soon. Next target $1 ? |
