x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, subject to the approval by the shareholders of the following dividends proposed in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2021: (i) proposed special one-tier tax exempt dividend of 12.75 Singapore cents per ordinary share and (ii) proposed final one-tier tax exempt dividend of 0.75 Singapore cents per ordinary share, (collectively ?Proposed Final Dividend and Special Dividend?) at the Company?s Annual General Meeting to be held by way of electronic means on 27 April 2022 (?AGM?), the Share Transfer Books and Register of Members of the Company will be closed on Wednesday, 11 May 2022 at 5.00 p.m. (?Record Date?) for the purpose of determining shareholders? entitlements and preparation of dividend warrants. Duly completed registrable transfers received by the Company?s Share Registrar, Boardroom Corporate & Advisory Services Pte. Ltd., at 1 Harbourfront Avenue, Keppel Bay Tower #14-07, Singapore 098632 up to the Record Date will be registered to determine shareholders? entitlements to the Proposed Final Dividend and Special Dividend. Shareholders whose Securities Accounts with The Central Depository (Pte) Limited are credited with shares as at the Record Date will be entitled to the Proposed Final Dividend and Special Dividend. The Proposed Final Dividend and Special Dividend, if approved by the shareholders at the AGM, will be paid on Friday, 20 May 2022. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Despite the freight cost for some of the routes have declined 10-20% from the peak, but it is still few hundred times higher than pre-covid. From PT Samudera' s 2 months financial announcement (Jan & Feb 2022), we can see that their result increased alot compared to FY 2021. Its 2 MONTHS net profit is already about 30% of FY 2021 net profit.  Besides, from the latest QR of Samudera Shipping, we can see that it routes are more in Asia, Indian Pacific and Middle East. The freight cost from Asia to Middle East is not declining for the past 2 months but it is increasing. I suppose this is one of the reason PT Samudera manages to report such amazing grow YoY due to the fact that huge contribution from Samudera Shipping which benefitted from the high freight cost.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Signal from management for better FY 2022 as below Quote Samudera Indonesia (PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk/SMDR) booked revenue of US$ 672.91 million last year 2021, a 37.09% increase year on year (y-o-y), thanks to high market growth during the year and better freight rate during the year. Such high revenue made Samudera to enjoy high gross profit and fantastic net profit, though the expense due to increasing operating cost also increased. Samudera&rsquo s expense for the year reached US$ 483.08 million, increasing 13.76% y-o-y, from US$ 424.62 million. But, Samudera still enjoyed a high increase in gross profit by 186.66%, to US$ 189.83 million, from US$ 66.22 million in 2020. Its net profit meanwhile increased very fantastic to US$ 93.04 million, from net loss of US$ 3.34 million in 2020. Samudera Indonesia expects for a higher revenue this year as the market seems promising. Samudera Indonesia President Director Bani Maulana Mulia said that the company targeted to create revenue of over US$700 million this year. &ldquo We also target to reach net profit better than last year,&rdquo Bani said in public expose today (March 31). &ldquo We are so optimistic in view of the momentum of economy recovery and the increasing demand,&rdquo he added. Moreover, in the first two months of this year (January-February) the company has created revenue of US$ 159.32, increasing 112.28% from the same period last year. Bani affirmed that the company will continue to add more new vessels in view of the increasing demand. &ldquo Now, the demand is still exceeding the capacity (supply).
