Good to know that GENS is open to explore developing IRs in Thailand or UAE when the opportunity arises. Not many companies have the balance sheet (billions in net cash) and more importantly the expertise to manage a project as such. 10:39 PM EDT, 05/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Singapore welcomed fewer tourists in April compared with March, when pop icon Taylor Swift had her six-night concert at the National Stadium.
According to data from the Singapore Tourism Board, there were around 1.4 million visitors last month versus 1.5 million in March. That figure came in slightly lower than January and February, data showed. Since the start of the year, the city-state welcomed 5.7 million tourists, up more than 41% from a year earlier, STB said. Overnight visitors increased nearly 41% year over year to 4.2 million. Based on the report, the average length of stay fell 13% on year to 3.4 days. |
