Will have to see if Stanmore will declare any interim dividend. Afterall, Stanmore has much debt to pay after the purchase of BHP. GEAR owns 64.1% of Stanmore. If Stanmore does declare, GEAR definitely could provide a much larger dividend, taking into account its Indonesian GEMS subsidiary is much more profitable than the same period last year. Gut feel that an interim dividend of at least US$0.04 per share should be provided. The management should avoid giving excuse that the money should be saved for debt repayment.

Dividend policy may change after the huge US$1.35 bil purchase of BHP (80% BMC), hope going forwards the management will look into ways to reward loyal shareholders. Anyway is a great acquisition at a right time where Met/Therm coals prices r at multi yr high, n this has resulted in KGI upgrade its target price to $1.29. Maybe if global coal price remains high, n the expected v good H12022 result Analysts may upgrade its target price further.

Golden Energy is very stingy, never rewards to its shareholders, look at Samudera shipping, giving so much dividend & price keep going up.

Golden Energy and Resources' 1HFY2022 to see ' significant improvements'
Golden Energy and Resources expects to report a &ldquo significant improvement&rdquo for its 1HFY2022 earnings on Aug 14.
The coal and gold miner explains this is mainly because of the consolidation of earnings from its 80% held subsidiary BHP Mitsui Coal. The acquisition was completed on May 3.
In addition, GEAR is enjoying higher average selling prices arising from both coal used for iron refining and for fuel.
