x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	CS :- ● ST Engineering&rsquo s 1H16 PATMI of S$237 mn was in line with expectations, as strong performance by Electronics and disposal gain in Land Systems were offset by Marine weakness. Interim DPS was maintained at S$0.05, unchanged from FY15. ● Electronics PBT increased 10% YoY to S$52 mn in 2Q16, and management was confident of prospects brought about by its Smart Cities capabilities. Other income increased to S$25 mn in 2Q16 from S$5 mn in 2Q15, driven by a gain of S$10 mn from disposal of Guizhou Jonyang Kinetics, as well as government grants and remeasurement gain. ● Management lowered its guidance for 2016 PBT to below 2015, vs its previous expectation of comparable PBT. With a sharp increase in Aerospace and Electronics contracts to S$1.4 bn in 2Q16, STE' s orderbook increased to S$11.6 bn in June 2016. ● We lower our 2016-18 EPS by 3-5% due to lower Marine forecasts. While there are limited positive drivers in the near term, we expect support for STE' s share price with attractive dividend yield of 4.2%. We maintain our NEUTRAL rating and TP of S$3.00.

If the price had CHEONG last week before results came out, they would have taken profits. But the price didnt blast off. It hovered at 3.38 to 3.40 region. So these people held on till results to see whether price can CHEONG after results. Results came in after market close last Friday. This morn, price still didnt CHEONG. So these people threw back to count their eggs. But for them, its lorry-loads of eggs to count one hor. Be mindful that her xd is on this Thu, 18 Aug. Dividend is 5 cts. If SHORT now and cannot cover by Wed, you have to pay that 5 cts per share to your House. Hit 3.34 this morn. Now back to 3.36 : 3.37. I will wait and see.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Yes, General Lucky. All units stand down and book out tonite to enjoy their weekend R & R. Monday UOB (35 cts) and DBS (30 cts) will trade XD. A gap down at opening is expected. The next question is whether they will continue to fall after that and drag the whole market down with them as well. Coz these two are heavyweight index stocks.
