Apparently iFast (fundsupermart) charge a flat fee regardless of value for SG and HK stock trading. So if you are scalping large amounts, it' s worth a look.

I beg to differ Believed ppl are accumulating cos there might be a reversal of the port tax on Chinese built ships, as their exporters are having difficulties finding non-chinese ships to export their goods without raising cost.

depends on which broker you use, I use Tiger, if I buy 5k shars , 1 bid already make about 30 dollars, 2 bids 80 dollars, assume buy 2.40, out 2.44, that' s a min of 150 dollars on the low side. only thing is cash upfront. 150 dollars can go for a lunch buffet for 2. Any FIFO with more than 3 bids I will give that a good call, and this call anyway, I am putting 1/3 (3k) of holding at sell Q right now, see 2.44 or 2.45 book some profit first with more than 13 bids, hopefully Agm like end April, long game to play till back to 3.xx my view

Ren-led Yangzijiang Financial Holding is said to have raised its tanker newbuilding tally to 22 with fresh contracts at four Chinese shipyards and is poised to book four handysize bulkers.
