The market cap (life blood) of the stock just seem to keep dropping as time passes - I can already start to imagine dividends distribution getting cut next year, cos they ran out of cash. Those who are careful with their money, do take a close look at their key metrics please - it sucks big time. The 6.5% rebound is just a breath of air before the next big wave down to 30c levels. |

This thread is very quiet when APTT rebound 6.5% over 2 days. The questions raised here have been answered many times at briefing and AGM. Those who know the situation and have intimate knowledge of Taiwan' s demand & supply may be accumulating the shares. In a way, I like it that it drops so that I can accumulate more at lower price. |

Please correct me if im wrong but would like to clarify on the below matter. The distribution per unit for a full year of $0.065 would amount to $93,392,000. However, APTTs total comprehensive income for full year 2017 (net of tax) only amount to $52,632,000. Looking as it is, APTT used :Equity attributable to unitholders of APTT: of $1,228,229,000 to pay for the balance of the distribution. Does this mean it can use the :Balance as at 31 Dec 2017: of $1,187,469,000 to pay for subsequent distribution? (If yes, it can pay for many years of distribution lol) Can anyone clarify what was the original purpose of this :Equity attributable to unitholders of APTT: ? |

pls focus on ops cashflow! from now on, ops cashflow is more than enough to cover the payout + pay interest of loan + additional free cash ... the biz is almost monopolistic in its service areas/cities in Taiwan ! what do your guys worry about ! to me, the only risk is: break-out of war with Mainland China over Taiwan independence ! this event is very unlikey: (1) All Taiwanese understand if they touch red-line, China will severely punch Taiwanese no matter US comming or not-comming (2) Taiwan economy is heavily dependent on China!

don' t forget capex is drastically reduced from 2018 onwards ! the annual payout cents6.5/per unit is sustainable! the huge capex is one-time event it is over ! it will be very unlikely for the next 10~15 year ! Grab APTT at fantastic cheap price!

Is it because APTT plans to issue more units of trust that stated in the AGM agenda which to be held on 27 Apr? Extacted from AGM agenda: ... 3. General mandate to issue units in APTT (&ldquo Units&rdquo ) ...

I think so. However, the chance to erupt war is quite slim: 1. China now enjoy overwhelimg military superiority over taiwan, Taiwan is simply NO match ! 2. American' s military superiority is declining against China! 3. China now have many means to sink US aircraft carriers if the war is around Taiwan and US dispatch Aircraft Carrier to rescue! Summary: Taiwan will provoke for the sake of upcoming election year-end ! but war is unlikely!
