The big boys have been buying not selling..... absorbing the sell off but share price is down because many retail players decide to take profit especially since such a huge run up....never give face to bi boys and parent company.....haa haa haa

The freight cost drop is from China to US / Europe but Samudera has less vessel which go to China. It can be found from the report. Patience will be rewarded.

Next week the parent company will report it's 1q result if the result is good, people will accumulate more samudera shipping as bulk of parent company earnings come from this company.
Right now, the rates are down because there is a drop in demand. But this drop is not due to actual drop in demand but due to lockdown and congestion....goods cannot get to the ports and containers due to lockdown. When the lockdown is over, you will see a sudden splurge in demand for shipping and a surge in freight rates...a repeat of what happens last year although this year it will be in a magnified form |

@ 0.900 yield is 15% @ 1.000 yield is 13.5% @ 1.35 yield is 10% for the patience SHs, just hold beyond 1H2023, we should be handsomely rewarded even after XD. price will creep back up slowly. Let' s see if sbb is approved? |

I think some of them already wanted to get out instead of waiting for the dividend as the negative factors ( inflation, war, interest rate hike, China lockdown, prospect of recession) after XD will likely to cause it to tank

Can see there are still plenty of willing buyers queuing. Of course they will shift their queues to buy lower if people are willing to panic sell. If fundamentals have really turned bad, sellers cannot find buyers. Period. |
