This is an old article in 2001 but it is still packed with information. Especially the pricing of synthetic diamond for industrial use.
" ..synthetic diamond prices for grinding and polishing range from as low as $0.30 per carat to $1 per carat. Strong and blocky material for sawing and drilling sells for $1.50 to $4.75 per carat. Large synthetic crystals with excellent structure for specific applications sell for several hundred dollars per carat"

Thanks for yr words of encouragement. Hope the best for Metech. The Trade with Caution that SgxRegCo given earlier indicated connected accounts trading.. this affect the image of Metech. The share price punges to 1series then now 2 series. It was in 3 series before the investigation found manpulation. Last year when they announced the joint venture the commencing date was mentioned as Dec 2021. Here is part of the Business Today article released on 21st Oct 2021. Metech announced on 19 September that its joint venture company, Asian Eco Technology Pte. Ltd. (AET) has entered into a 3-year lease agreement for an industrial property located at Kallang for the production of lab-grown diamonds, expected to commence by the end of December 2021 with lab- grown diamonds produced on a bi-weekly basis. Major shareholders buying is a generally a good sign.. While there are diamond growing machines avaliable on Alibaba, it doesnt mean that one has the technical knowledge for it or the capex for it. If you read their circular, their JV partner took 2-3 years to produce their first diamond...which probably can only be used for industrial purposes. Factory in Singapore is definitely in the works as announced by the Company...let' s await for their updates then.

Generally most people agree on the potential of the lab grown diamond but not a single diamond is produced yet at Metech. Diamond growing machines are available online fr Alibaba whole sale website....what is the problem? They have signed many agreements and colaborations but where are the results? Would be great for Metech to announce the opening of the first lab grown diamond factory in Singapore! |
