I have tried the Wave NX App but I do hear any difference between a song played on the Iphone Spotify and one played by NX player.  I believe you need the head tracker for the NX as it more for VR gaming. Creative' s Super X-Fi works on mapping the dynamics of the ears each individual has to deliver their 3D sound. So i suspect it would be an entirely different approach. As for OSSIC, it is just a startup wanna-be. Creative is in sound business for years.
