(cont' d) Another follow-up reply ...... ================================================================================================= I just put your another favourite stock, submarine to " trade" using exactly same settings as before, and the results is still considered OK, around S$9.7K  profit, not so bad. Of course, it should be able to improved if the settings are optimized. So, do not underestimate simple TA strategy. This is what Panda can teach you for " quick start learning with positive results" . But, you still need to learn from basic to have better understanding how TA works, and more important one is, how the stock game is played by the monkeys after you have good foundation on TA. As I told you before, stock trading is more on phychological game with the monkeys,, as you have already experienced it on RiverStone recently. Hahahha.... Have fun with the monkeys.

Below is what Panda' s replied to her, a sister started trading/investing not long ago and with little experience.    ================================================================================================================= You can learn from the Youtube videos or websites. There are many good sources for learning TA. For example, Karen Foo, Rayner Teo, adam Khoo and etc. Just google them in internet and Youtube and you can find them.  Next. I want to show you even a simple TA strategy can make you " rich" liao. Let' s take an example, Volume Weighted Moving Average (VWMA). You can find this VWMA in most of the charting software. Initial trading fund = S$20,000. Trade size = 10,000 shares per trade Commission : 0.35% per transaction Trade staring from : 02 Jan 2020 Let' s trade your favourite stock RiverStone..... Chart settings Time frame : Daily (1D) VWMA period : 21 days (Orange line) Price smoothing period : 5 days on closed price (White line) These are the typical settings, and some adjustments might be necessary on other stocks that have different " characteristic" . Wow! Your profit is S$23,424,25! 117.12% on top of your trading fund! But, if you are not itchy hands, and just " buy and hold" , your gain is even more! 225.53%! WASIEH!  So, frequent trading might not have better earning as compared to " Buy and Hold" , and of course, it also depend on the stocks that you " invested" .  As I told you before, even a simple TA tading strategy can give you 20 - 70% profit depend on your skills. Have to put on real field test next week.  Panda is very excited now.... Waiting to see the results of this improved indicator signal.  And see can get some CNY Ang Pao from Mr. Market or not!
