We are confident that it will break $4.00.easily this year. Black market is not saying when ... but from the coffee shop uncles' sneakily faces, I suspect it will be by the time the results are out.. Whatever it is you can see from the price movement, the stock is stirring. Uncles are of the view that I will be giving better than the usual Capitaland pathetic dividends previously... Remember, it not only receives a management fees from the REITs it is managing, it also gets the dividends declared by each Reit it manages because it has   a large interest in each of the REITs. And not forgetting it has investments and interests in other businesses and companies... it is no more or no longer the same old boring property developer.... |

For very large trades, the seller may not have the total numbers in the first in line buy queue, for him to dispose all. ... so he has to see the volumes immediately behind the buyers in the queues, and when he decides to execute the sales to dispose his entire quantity after calculating he has enough numbers from the buyers, it will go all the way back to the lowest selling price in the queue. This goes to show that the fund managers may not have access to the agenda and plans of the black market people....  | ||||

This group of investors must be a bloody idiot.   All day, on 30th and 31st Dec, CLI was trading mostly between $3.43 to $3.45.   and these bloody idiots deliberately called at $3.40 and $3.41 at the close for 2.4 m shares.   They should be locked up at Woodbridge for making such a call.   | ||||

With 2.4m shares, must be a BB.  Thus they might have a strategic reason to sell the price that they chose.  Either to close a trade or close for the year or to take a the funds and invest in something else.  The probable reason to sell at a lower price could have been a strategic reason, maybe a last-minute decision.

If this stupid group of investors had waited for 2 trading days to sell off,   he would have made more than $200,000 of profit when it was trading $3.48.   They are really dumb.   I never knew our local investors are so dumb.  | ||||

In line with the CEO' s message, let' s hope that 2022 will be a promising year for CLI.   In the last 2 days of trading, I noticed an unusual trading pattern.   A group of non-strategic CLI investors sold off about 2.4 million shares at the close forcing down the price to $3.40 yesterday and $3.41 today.   Question: 1.   This group has ample opportunity to sell at $3.45 but they chose to depress the share price at the close.   Why should an investor want to make less profit or loses?   Why so stupid?   Perhaps someone could explain the logic of such an investor? Happy New Year to all.  |

CapitaLand Development in JV to develop 1.5b yuan business park in Suzhou New District
 
CAPITALAND Development (CLD) has partnered Mitsubishi Estate, one of Japan' s largest real estate groups, to invest 1.5 billion yuan (S$318.2 million) to develop a business park in China' s Suzhou New District.
 
The development arm of CapitaLand takes a 50 per cent share in the joint venture (JV) for the project, which will start construction next year and is expected to complete in 2024.
 
Announcing these in a joint press statement on Thursday (Dec 30), CLD said it will undertake the master planning and development of the business park, while the operations will be managed by CapitaLand Investment.
 
Suzhou New District is the second largest national development zone in Suzhou, a city west of Shanghai. To date, it has attracted close to 1,800 foreign enterprises and more than 100 research institutes, and is home to about 1,000 national high-tech new economy enterprises.
 
According to Hirase Takehiro, chairman and president of Mitsubishi Estate (Shanghai), the district is often referred to as " Japanese Highland" with over 600 renowned Japanese enterprises.
 
The business park to be built will sit on a 5 hectare plot of land within the Central Business District of the new district, and will have a total construction area of over 220,000 square metres.
 
CLD noted that it will feature multi-tenanted buildings with provisions for research and development activities as well as community and lifestyle amenities.
 
The park will also cater to demand from tenants in high-tech new economy sectors such as new-generation information and communication technologies, smart manufacturing and artificial intelligence, as well as biomedical sciences, it said.
 
CLD, meanwhile, pointed out that the park will adopt a " Singapore-style garden city design concept" , meant to promote collaboration among companies, research institutions, government agencies and talents amid a " green and sustainable" environment.
 
This will involve incorporating green technologies such as photovoltaic solar panels, ecological drainage systems, rainwater harvesting and energy-efficient infrastructure.
 
Tan Tze Shang, chief executive officer of CLD (China), said the project will leverage CapitaLand' s " extensive track record" in creating vibrant communities with an optimal mix of live-work-play spaces.
 
It will also let the group, which has over 2 decades of experience in Suzhou, further tap into the " promising" growth prospects of Yangtze River Delta and support its pivot to new economy assets, he added.
 
This is not the first time CLD has partnered Mitsubishi Estate. The parties had collaborated on the recently completed Singapore-Hangzhou Science & Technology Park Phase 3 in the Hangzhou economic and technological development area.

donu, haha, seem to be a recurring theme tbh, just a matter of timeframe cycle - could be retail investers being taken for a ride due to many unknown / uncertainties I suspect that this is due to no news on dividend just yet - sooner when one dividend has been issued things might be more stable i believe |
