  Still not a concern......as   the chief may change or change his ideas......   SGX mulls setting minimum share price for  mainboard­ listed firms Singapore Business Review &ndash Thu, Sep 18, 2014 10:31 AM SGT   Cheap securities pose significant risk. The Singapore Exchange (SGX) yesterday unveiled a detailed proposal on the minimum trading price requirement and proposed changes to the existing watch­ list, which aims to address risks associated with cheap stocks and improve overall market quality. Under the proposal, the SGX will set a minimum trading price of S$0.20 for Mainboard stocks. A one­ time transition period of 12 months from the date of introduction of the minimum trading price requirement will be given to affected issuers to undertake corporate actions to meet the new requirement. Those which are unable to meet the requirement after the 12­ month transition period will be placed on a watch­ list. Issuers which are unable to take steps to raise its minimum trading price and exit the watch­ list will be delisted after a 36­ month cure period. SGX targets to introduce the minimum trading price requirement and adjustments to the existing watch­ list requirements by March 2015, and for them to take effect from March 2016. seems like need it would be many years , before any meaningful return on investment of the Alexandra property can materialize. NOL is still making losses, for it to buy back the property would likely happen when it turn profitable and this may depends on the market cycle  for shipping . In addition profitable shipping routes may have shifted.  perhaps need to follow Li Ka Shing ? " The company is in the process of monetising low-growth assets which have good valuations when the interest rate environment is favourable and to deleverage the balance sheet ahead of an upcycle in the interest rate."   |

Haha, he will give only 0.001 or less DVD. But to him it's a lot since he whole most of it. Then he will used what he has collected from 0.001 to do charity work for tax relief !! He gain both ways!! But if you are vested you only actually gain only 0.001 or less. So you not vested then better look for other counter. He already can help himself even nobody buy his share. | ||

Yeh, Good old Mr. Koh is a bit of a control freak. I really think he loves his business so much he has to own most of it. It' s this kind of obessession that creates billionaires. I think the new business will do well. The mainland Chinese are buying into Aussie properties like its going out of fashion. Prices are moving up almost every year. Hard to see how it can fail.   |

Agree Koh is a shrew businessman. But I am a bit concern now becuase he is holding so many shares that it might be difficult for it to move. The total share is also huge. He is in control of everything, for example, GP hotel moved up to as high as 40 cents (It has come down now) after he stopped buying at 32.5 cents. In short, this is a very safe stock if you are contended to just keep it for stable dividend, which I am doing now. Shall see how this spin off thing pan out..  |

Really must bow to Mr. Goh. Go on holiday , buy some properties and then spin off multi million $ company. Smart people' s brains never stop. They make money  even during holiday. Most of us are braindead even when we are working!!! |

the share price hardly move. Market does not appreciate the upcoming spin off. Melbourne property market potential is not known to many and market conditions may change rapidly in the next 12 to 18 mths. Probably Fragrance has to move faster....... |
