deficit, the end of most pandemic stimulus and a sharp decline in business spending, especially on new inventories.
The biggest surprise in the report was a reduction in so-called gross domestic income -- basically wages and profits. The growth in income -- the flip side of spending -- was revised down in the second quarter to 0.1% from a previous 1.4%. Income growth was also lowered to 0.8% in the first quarter from 1.8%. Many economists had suspected GDP was actually stronger in the first half of the year than the government previously reported because of the gains in income. Higher incomes usually mean higher spending. Incomes did not rise as much as previously estimate, however, probably because of rising inflation. Higher price pressures wiped out most income gains. Looking ahead: "Consumers are holding up well, even with high inflation, and the labor market remains very strong," said chief economist Gus Faucher of PNC Financial Services. "But there's a real possibility that the Fed could overdoes it, pushing the US economy into recession in the first half of 2023." Market reaction: The Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 both fell in Thursday trades. |

Becos there are buyers.... shorts cant sell down already super cheap stocks...the index is high doesnt mean all stocks will go down equally...

The logic is simple.... Fed drain money from the market with QT therefore interest rate raise.... investors sell market and buy bonds....
Stock market drop...panic sell everything goes down... Problem is they may lose control and fed will panic when yields goes above 5% .... Who can pay such high rate with so much debt on hands... We are very close to bottom..... market rebound from june becos someone * panic We are close to bottom.....trust me

The market for EV in China still got lot of room for growth. China government will definitely promote EV to reduce carbon emissions , promote it's own manufacturing and spur growth. This market is going to beat the bear. Read up on Nio Baa , their market model is the one and only in the world doing this which makes them standout from other EV. Plus their branding and design of the car makes them unique from other competitors.

To be honest.... i think chinese EV stocks is a bargain....
Unless there is a shooting war between china and US..... its a buy... Too cheap.... both countries cannot afford a real war between them |
