Just cleared my 3.35 and 3.38 at 3.41. Small profit - supermarket vouchers. May still have chance to go up though, just prefer to reduce exposure.

SingTel... Still at 3.40 : 3.41 in spite of Dow falling for 2 straight nights. That speaks of strength. Now that the Katek Monkey is widely believed to have left the room, people are more willing to come out to queue for her. The landscape out there has changed. The days of the Katek Monkey beheading buyers in the queue are over. But there is one other thing. Mmmm... I wonder if SingTel is suffering from a liquidity-drain problem. What I mean by that? Not just us but everyone out there who have been watching the market will also know that the banks are outperforming and REITs are holding up. So where should they put their capital into ? Banks and REITs or SingTel ? Having said this, I believe that when Dow rebounds and close positive, we will see a bigger crowd pushing and shoving from behind and those who are put off by the long BUY queues will just take from the sellers. And we will see the price edge higher to 3.42 : 3.43 first. Then 3.43 : 3.44. |

When she is back at her Last High at 29.71, the current price at 29.02 : 29.03 will look so very cheap. Bro Toyota bought last Friday at 28.02 to 28.09. He is now sitting on one dollar of profits. Guys, Learn how to read the market. Learn how to feel the pulse and heartbeat of the market. This is something which all traders and investors must learn. For it will serve you well. Dow fell -157 pts on Monday. And Dow fell again -171 pts last nite. Fell a total of -328 pts over two consecutive nights. Yet DBS showed us a New High yesterday and an even Newer High today. What does that speak of this stock ? Its speaks of weakness ? Or strength ? If it speaks of strength, then how should we, as traders or investors react to it ? EVERY PULLBACK IS A BUY. That' s how we should react. Then look at the Musketeers. Likewise, 2 straight nites of fall. But are they pulling back ? Are they revisiting their LOWs of last week ? Those who bought at last week' s LOWs... their positions are still in the money in spite of Dow falling -328 pts over 2 consecutive nites. Does that speak of strength or weakness? Now, when Dow does a pullback and a strong stock which you are watching dont follow to do a pullback but hold its ground tight or even edge up slightly, what do you think that stock will do when Dow rebound and close positive? And that will tell you what you should do whilst you still have the chance before the stock do this... . . .. . .

I see, thanks for the insights! Because I see the general trend, uob oc and dbs same trend, but dbs volume is much much higher. For the reits, I only have enough bullets for one until my cash is out from ssb 😂 😂 Which&rsquo d you recommend?

DBS is now the market leader in the banking sector. They have a bigger regional presence than the other two and are hence in a better position to participate in the growth of the economies of those regional countries. From the last reporting, you also now know that the dividends declared by DBS dwarfs what the other two are willing to pay. DBS $1.10 UOB 65 cts OCBC 19 cts DBS also very confidently announced that dividends in 2018 will be at least $1.20. The other two banks chickened out. Mmm Ka Choot Siah. So if you are an Ang Moh fund and you are looking for a good and strong bank to park your hundreds of millions in, which bank will you choose? |

Its okay. A good chance for you to practise the following: 1. Watching the price action of a VERY actively traded stock. 2. Learning how to follow a stock down during an intraday pullback to buy it when it U-turn back up. 3. Learning how to manage and control your bolas instead of your bolas manage and control you. 4. Learning how to have faith in applying your past trading experience when you see a similar familiar price action and you want to trade it.

SingTel... Can see that buyers are slowly streaming back into the market to queue to buy. From 3.39 to 3.37... a healthy queue of buyers there compared to last week when people were queueing to sell at those prices instead. |
