Only Telcos like Singtel , Starhub holding well and maintain above average during near bottom times.
Meaning ? Meaning Pacific Century is relatively under-valued as compared to its peers. In actual fact, Pacific Century is under-valued as compared to its own brothers PCCW and HKT valuation performance in HK. |

Singtel huge portion of the profit is not local. Sg only 3 telco. 2 not doing well, the last one remaining shld do well or at least not too badly

M1 reported profit drop 7.5% handphone sale plunge almost 50% ... Both M1 and StarHub price straight away drop 1.8% and 1.3% and still dropping ... SingTel, should start dropping also soon ... although maybe not as much since only its local revenue affected |

M1 reporting result today after market close ... looking at singtel, M1, starhub all drop from recent highs, expect so so result for M1 So recent run up share prices of this 3 were over done ... once M1 result out, it will be buy on rumours, sell on news again ... likely also in sync with europe, US to drop big tonight ... |

But the amount of daily short is dropping like crazy. Too many shortists are covering? might see price hit $4.3 if the support keeps up. Lost count of the amount of shorts in recent months. The recent support in price might be coming from temasek holdings. Their portfolio report coming up soon, supporting the share price will make it look better on portfolio. If true, we shouldn' t see a drop in price until the portfolio goes public. |

1) Political gridlock in australia may cause Australia $ to drop in coming months and so singtel australia profit will drop too 2) Near XD in 02aug2016, singtel will likely drop by 10c too, similar to what happen aug2015 last year So expect to see $3.XX again within months ... |

Singtel rise is not surprising, considering Telco is one of the best , if not THE BEST business in the world right now. You can skip your lunch, but you cannot live without your handphones nowadays. In the 80s, when we wake up from sleep, the 1st thing we do is to go for a pee. Now ? 1st thing is grab your handphone : ) LOL |
