TT, yr calculation is correct, theoretically, for shares with rights announcement. However, with the added warrants, those who enter after ex-rights will lose the warrant sweetener . Hence, I  think,   theoretical ex-price shd be lower than 10.1 cents . On the other hand, market may be irrational.. we may see a better ex-price, if market view great potential in this counter. Anyway, today is the last trading day.. for those who wants to get the rights and warants..

Warrants is your entitlement for you to convert into Koh Eco (KE) shares, by paying 10 cents ea. Can' t recall what is the warrant period.. say within this period if KE share has increased to 15 cents, and if u choose to exercise the warrants then, u need to just pay 10 cents. Or u may just sell away the warrant itself, which, theoretically, shd be trading at 5 cents then. However, if ( touch wood), KE share is trading at less than 10 cents, say 8cents, then it makes no sense to convert. So u can just let the warrant expire ( at no cost to you), or if there is trading value for the warrant ( who knows), u can just sell away the warrant to get some $ out. This is my first time dealing with warrants...lol.. previously, just let my warrant expires..

However, on ex-rights, the shareholder who buys the share will do so without the rights or warrants.  Therefore, ex-rights price should reflect that loss of the entitlement, and would be lower than the day before (last cum rights).  The calculation I lifted from somewhere, not sure if it is correct, but it seems logical.  What I did was add the rights and shares (12c x 5)+(5.5c x 2) and divide it by no of shares which is 7 (5+2), assuming 12 cents is the last price just before ex-rights.    This gives 10.1 cents.      And if the last price before ex rights is 15 cents, the price on ex-rights day would be 12.2 cents.  If the calculation is correct, it will dispel fears that price would drop a lot on ex-rights day, on the contrary it doesn' t since buying before ex-rights has that extra entitlement, and buying on ex-rights day would be shares without the sweet entitlement (hence the price reflects the loss of that entitlement).

The rights price is 5.5 cents.    Cum-rights is the daily quoted price of the mother share.    Which is the current price 11.8 cents.    Tomorrow it could be 12 cents, or 15 cents.  If you hold these shares until book close, you qualify for the rights and the warrants.

If last cum-rights price goes to 15 cents, ex-right would 12.3cents? Which means the warrants would yield profit of 2.1 cents? Is this how the expexted price works?

Strong support shown today. Should carry on tomorrow, 12 cents would be easily achieved. Shows investors are supportive of the fund raising. If price is at 12 on 18 Oct closing, ex rights on 19 would be 10.1 cents? Correct me if I am wrong?

Price is moving up again, there' s buying up at 11.8 cents.    Watch the big buyer who is now at 11.5 cents, if there is no abating of price, there could be a bid for 12 cents and up.  This stock has gone crazy, now become the most wanted stock.    Anyone can elaborate on the ex-rights price?    Would the closing price at 18 Oct be used?      If so, with such demand, plus the fact that the warrants strike price is 10 cents, I really doubt there would be much rights for trading, or even if people sell their rights it would be at a high price.    Only my thoughts.    |

Good observation, and thanks for sharing Lifeisgood. Yes, was wondering why sudden up yesterday when usually price will drop once right is announced. I sold away part of my holdings at 123 yesterday, and bou back before close... shd hv waited today to get more profits. Anyway, shd not be too greedy. I am waiting to see how the trading of rights will perform.

Yesterday strong run up towards 4 pm to 12.4 cents. Then came down shareply with players throwing big across 2 bids down. Seems like arbitragers at work, selling the more expensive mother shares and subsrcibe to double the number of cheaper rights (including excess if can get). Current market price still higher than the theoretical ex-rights price of around 9 cents, so I think those who chase to buy this share at current price has to be very careful. Just an observation. Vested, but not adding anymore at this level.  | ||||

SGX FILINGS " Based on the Company&rsquo s issued and paid-up share capital of 747,554,207 Shares as at the date of this announcement, the Company will issue up to 299,021,682 Rights Shares with 299,021,682 Warrants. " Expect most will take up the rights, and may not have much to trade.    Even those in the market will probably be priced high.    Do your sums, buy now or later, it' s up to you.

It should be 2,000 warrants for 2000 rights.  The price has run up, so the rights has become very attractive.
