AEM build test equipment for Intel. So it doesn' t matter the chip is for who. All chips will flow to test equipment build by AEM for burn-in, system level test and binning. If Apple business to Intel is just a small percentage, it won' t impact AEM. Not vested in AEM.

A full-blown trade war between the United States and China, a worry that sent the averages far into the red on Monday, has a "very low" chance of happening, strategist Scott Wren told CNBC. As a market-wide sell-off drove stocks down to correction-level lows, Wren said on CNBC's "Fast Money" that China's newly imposed tariffs on U.S. goods were a "mini-shot over the bow" in the broader scope of global trade relations. "I think we're going to see a lot of extreme targeting of tariffs" played out over the next few years, Wren, a senior global equity strategist at Wells Fargo Investment Institute, said on Monday. "The volume of trade between the two countries is obviously huge and what the tariffs are actually on is pretty small, so I don't think we're going to see a big escalation." Wren told CNBC's Melissa Lee that he expected to see a lot of renegotiation between U.S. and Chinese policymakers in lieu of a more heated battle. "I think the bottom line for us is that an all-out trade war is a low probability," the strategist said. Wren did worry about the White House's proposed tariffs on China for alleged intellectual property theft, long a point of tension between the two countries. The strategist anticipated "some give" in the technology stocks as a result ? considering such companies' large lines of business in China. "They're not about to give up their technology and their rights to [selling into China]," Wren said. "The administration, they need to go after this intellectual property problem because it is a huge problem and if it didn't come to the boiling point now, it certainly would at some point down the road." | ||||

Can' t conclude. AEM may derive most of their revenue from Intel, but we dont know what chips they are working on. The chips may not be for Apple. The problem is we will never know because AEM will never disclose. Just make sure AEM has limited exposure to your overall port. That will keep risk in check.

Erm, when I asked if u are kidding I am amazed at how u understand corporate statement. This is a generic respond to all market volatility.
Anyway, I'm not about to start an argument here. I just wanted to update a "REAL" news for sharing. If the respond from you is as such so be it.
I hope aem do OK later. Peace out

The decline in Intel shares on the report that Apple plans to stop using the company's chips is a great buying opportunity, according to one Wall Street firm.
Stifel reiterated its buy rating for Intel shares, citing Apple's small market share in the PC industry.
Intel's stock dropped sharply on Monday after Bloomberg reported that Apple would ditch Intel chips for an in-house model on Mac computers. Its shares fell as much as 9 percent after the report and then regained ground, ending the day down 6 percent.

Report: Apple plans to move away from Intel chips in Macs as early as 2020
"The market is over reacting to Apple's announcement for using an internally developed CPU for its Mac systems as early as 2020," analyst Kevin Cassidy wrote in a note to clients entitled "Potential Apple Move Not a Major Threat to Intel" on Monday. "According to IDC, Apple had 7.3% traditional PC unit market share in 4Q17."
He recommended investors buy Intel shares on Monday's weakness.
Cassidy reaffirmed his $53 price target for Intel shares.
He estimated Apple generated only 4 percent of Intel's revenue last year and less than 1 percent of its profits.
"We do not expect any other PC manufacturers will consider designing its own CPUs," he wrote.
