This uptrend Elliot Wave - w1 to w5 wave a to c : total 8 waves - running on 4hr chart wave a 1868 ?1759 delta 108 dn 61.8% - still at this wave - px hit 1722 delta 146 dn 83% of w5 delta 176 - bad shape dn very deep - once uturn wave b up start wave b ?1722 ?1778 delta 56 up 38.2% of wave a - At this stage only wave b can break EW wabc correction - It has to punch through w5 1868 which i think is difficult now wave c ?1778 ?1688 delta 90 dn 61.8% of wave a - near w4 1692 No 100%. My personal opinion only ah. The bigger waves are more predictable, whereas the smaller the waves, the more dynamic and more prone to news and Market Makers tinkering. You need to understand the dynamic behind the counter you are trading. Is there a pre-dominate Market Maker or are there a few big players with differing views? The later will conform more to Technical Analysis where as the former will tends to take advantage of the Technical Indicators.

completely agreed. there is still on FDA bomb on e-cig coming, i am interested to know how things go. If its clear to sell, venture should shoot. if not... i cannot imagine. One thing to note in EW wave is if the wave breaks a certain point, then gota restart right? Then in this case, any chance the EW wave is broken due to this unexpected negative news? the problem i feel is how to ascertain if a drop is due mainly to news/propsects vs EW adjustment? | ||||

Numbers wise......coming results should not be affected. But share prices are forward looking...........meaning the price now is an indication of what investor expect the business to be preforming fews months or qtrs down the road.

complex, i treat venture as a non china manufacturer, so there is a chance people buy its part direct. but i failed to consider the intricacies of interlinked supply chain... esp when you sell to ultimate assembly entities which by itself is going through a scandal. but then this coming Q' s result announcement should sitll not affect venture right |

Another of my questions........if the " Big Hack" is proved to be true, can the affected Customers request for a change in the affected Hardware? will there be a re-call? Worst still will anyone sue or as for compensation? | ||||

This info will affect Venture immediately and in the future depending on how everything played out. The interest and sentiment on this counter will take a hit immediately. As a potential investor or longists will you hesitate to invest in Venture? Will you think twice before investing and adopt a look see , look see approach first?. 1) if the US is taking issue with China, they will probably use this as an excuse to look for alternative source in the supply chain. 2) For Govt agencies, MNCs, Institutions to but from a Supplier, that supplier must be in their approved list of suppliers, with this " Big Hack" issue what do you think will happen to Suppliers who have been using parts Super Micro? Even if there is no direct instruction from the top, what do you think the purchasers will do, especially when you have other suppliers? 3) With this in the open, how will the Market Makers reacts? It will definately more difficult to push up the price now compared to before the news break. IMO, DYODD
