Reopening stocks are likely to firm up this morning ahead of Prime Minister Lee&rsquo s 11am address to the nation as local Omicron cases subside The easing of COVID-19 measures around this period is in line with our earlier expectation for COVID-19 measures to ease around end-March to April. But people have an incredible way of adapting to changes, and normalising them. Just as how the extra security inconveniences implemented after 911 have now become the normal thing in flying. The good news is that these covid measures have further room for relaxation and are gradually being relaxed/simplified as the world transition into endemicity.    Fair comments on the China situation, albeit this is a temporary pain & it will come to accept that the zero covid strategy is self-defeating as the economic risks outstrip the fatality risks. For now, its a matter of finding ways to ramp-off this zero covid strategy. China being China, they have the ability to pull it off.
