The pullback stopped at 3.75 : 3.76 without testing the support at 3.74. Immediate resistance is at 3.79 where the 200-ema is. Today' s range so far is 3.75 to 3.78. Now 3.76 : 3.77. Expect consolidation at 3.74 to 3.79 until the resistance at 3.79 breaks.

Catalyst for this upmove is Results in early Nov where dividend of 6.8 cts (as in previous 2 years) will be declared. The XD date is in mid-December. If special dividend is also declared, that will be a turbo engine to propel her higher. Price action shows a big buyer is in the driver' s seat. He swallowed 861.7 lots at 3.74 and 1035.1 lots at 3.75 from the sellers in the queue earlier this morning. Now that a big gun is buying, he wont allow the price to drop. Those of you who wish to participate in this upmove... do a BUY ON INTRADAY PULLBACK and space out your BUYs. Dont buy all at one go. Retain the ability to average down. Send in your troops Platoon by Platoon. Whilst we hope to buy cheaper on intraday pullback, be prepared to chase the price if there is no pullback and the big gun keeps swallowing all the sellers in the queue. All the best, comrades. Based on the successful IPO, Singtel has received $1,095.3 million in cash for divesting its 75.01% stake in the company in September 2017. Besides being an estimated 65% of total proceeds being given out as special dividends, the rest of the proceeds will be used to invest in the core business, new opportunities, and to clear debts. SingTel has also been benefiting from its expanding network in Indonesia and India. SingTel&rsquo s Indonesia mobile associate Telkomsel is reporting double-digit organic growth in subscriber base, and continuous increase in data usage. Bharti Airtel is also expected to be reporting better numbers due to the massive industry consolidation. UOB maintains a Buy call on Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SGX: Z74) with a target price of $4.53.
