x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	if i were in the same situation, i likely will be in a loss too.. cos i will be feeling heartache if i cut and it goes up, but similarly feeling relief if it goes down after cut.. with the huge fluctuation in price, no one can tell if the price is going up or down (same like we can never  be able to  predict what trump is thinking) cos traders will also come into picture when we have huge fluctuations in price.. there could be rebound, and if u think this counter isint worth investing, then find a chance to cut.. Not all reits/trusts are bad.. just look for the ones that doesnt give too much dividends more than they are able to pay.. they need to be sustainable.. Investing in pennies is not that easy as well.. pennies will often be played by traders, especially those with stories to play up (ie potential).. it is not easy to find a true potential pennies that can become a multi-bagger nowadays.. our sgx are full of crap pennies which some churn up stories and promising stories.. just look at the catalist index and it has been trending down for at least 5 years.. recent few IPOs  are questionable which sgx allow listing (like ayondo, synagie) even though they have been making losses.. Traditionally deemed safer options will be to invest in blue chip, as these are considered " branded" and perceive as safe by public.. the yields are actually not super high compare to reits and some counters around if u do research, but these blue chips normally command higher premium in their valuation (in terms of p/e) due to being perceived as stable and safe (which i think is bull sh*t cos u can see it just by looking at SIA results recently).. but well, funds will have to own them in their portfolio since they are blue chips.. In any case, if u look for counters to invest base on dividends, look out for their track record of dividends paid, whether their dividends are sustainable (such as not giving out dividends more than EPS), their p/e ratio, their cash sitting around (best if there is no debt but most companies listed here have some debts), their stability in earnings growth etc.. I will wait for rebound and sold all shares. Invest in potential pennies stock when market is bad... then u can recover faster.
