x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	General Warrior, From morning till now, there was no Sell-Down Trade at all. Not one. It would appear that the big guns of the Moron Fund have been silenced and put away. What are left in the battlefield now holding out Hill 370 are resistance fighters defending the hill with small arms.  I believe if the Moron Fund is not done, he would continue to aim his big guns at our brave soldiers defending Hill 369. No shot was fired. And funds usually dont waste time to have a Kit Kat break of as much as one whole day when they divest. To us, buy or sell... 1 bid more or 1 bid less makes a difference. To funds, buy or sell at 10 to 20 bids higher or lower makes no difference. If you are looking to buy to get your train ticket and you have been queueing at Counter 369 all day but your queue doesn' t seem to be moving, it could be becoz tickets priced at 3.69 are sold out. So you may want to consider grabbing some first at 3.70 before General Lucky and his fellow Generals order their naval guns to open fire at Hill 370 to clean out all resistance there.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	So far so good. No more sell-down trades in big lots. The moron fund manager' s big gun has been silenced. But what is lacking now is Bull funds buying aggressively into this counter. So far only one Buy-Up trade consisting of 444.4 lots done at 3.70 at shortly after 1pm. We need to see multiple Buy-Up trades by Bull funds. Only that can clear sellers level by level. So the Bear Fund is done and has left the battlefield. But Bull Funds have not landed yet. That' s why retail bears can still offer resistance at Hill 370. Not counting today, another 16 trading days to go before we come to last day of CD. Bull Funds think it is still too early to order their troops to land behind enemy lines. When they do, we will see this in the price action.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Dow had a pullback of -64 pts last nite, This is her Intraday Chart for yesterday' s action while we were sleeping. Not a pretty sight. From the opening bell, she fell. Every attempt to rebound was greeted by people selling into the bounce. After midday, she stabilised somewhat when the selling ended. From then on, all she could do was to hang on and hover and she moved sideways for the rest of the session. But towards closing, she dipped a little and closed down -64 pts. Dow' s overnite pullback will spillover to our market today. Weak stocks will see a negative knee-jerk reaction to Dow' s fall. Stocks which are falling and still in search of their bottoms will continue to fall. But stocks which have found a bottom and rebounded accompanied by a surge in volume will be stable and will hold steady. Any pullback will be shortlived and shallow and is an opportunity for those looking to buy to hop on at a discount.

Good for you then. But not for me. My trading and investment strategy is workable only becoz of one thing and this one thing is found only in good blue chip counters. That' s why I stick to blue chips. What stocks do I play? Ascendas REIT CapitaComm Trust Suntec REIT CapitaMall Trust SingTel SGX Capitaland ST Engrg Wilmar Stocks which I used to play actively but have sidelined them meantime are: SIA Starhub ComfortDelgro Global Logistics Properties Hong Kong Land UOB DBS OCBC Charts are a starting point. They tell me what a stock has been doing in the past 1 year. They also tell me whether the stock is  on an uptrend,  downtrend or sideways. I look for patterns. And I try to find repetition in patterns. Why? Those patterns did not occur at random. Those patterns are not creatures of accidents or coincidence. Those patterns occurred and in some instances,  occurred  repeatdly  becoz of the action of monkeys.    Whatever methods and tactics monkeys use, they work. The monkeys  always win and they always make money. If it works, it  ain' t broken. Then why fix it? No need to fix. There is nothing to fix. And  no need to change either. Just  continue to use the same  methods and tactics. Coz they will work. For the monkeys. Which is  why we sometimes see repetition in chart patterns and repetition  in the price action. And from there, trading experience and  observation of the realtime price action tells us how we should position  ourselves to profit from what  the market is likely to do next. Having said that, I must stress  that we will still  not  always get it right. But until a better system comes along, I will stick to what works for me. For now.
