I believe not many here are vested in Mermaid so this thread is rather quiet, but from what I see, the oil market is definitely improving with projects starting to come in. Thing is that for Mermaid, they sold off their shares in AOD last year and now only a few vessels left as asset. The recent 120M award across 3 locations is not a large sum, I believe margin is very low and there is a risk of cost overrun (not sure if it' s lump sum award or reimburseable). They have been losing hundred over M past couple years and with a reduced fleet and no more AOD, and with another round of potential right at 7 cents, risk is too big for us. That said, stocks run either way regardless of fundamentals so make your own decision as this is only my personal opinion, which is the reason I decided to cash out, leaving a bit to either lose abit or earn abit more in the end
