x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I have often said that stocks which have no monkeys wont move. There are many such monkey-less stocks in the SGX. On many days in a year, no trade whatsoever is done. Hence their charts look like this. Mind you, this is a 1-Yr Daily chart. But how many candles do you see in this 1-Yr chart? On all other days when there were no candles, it means no trades were done. And we have many such stocks in our SGX. They are the " ghost cities" of our SGX. And that' s what happens when no monkey is interested in the stock. Even for those stocks where there is a monkey, yet when the monkey is away and the buying and selling is done by only retail bulls and bears, the price hardly moves or may not even move at all. Like what SingTel is doing now. When only retail buyers or sellers do the buying and selling, the only thing which happens is we see a blip on our screen. That' s all. It wont move the price. That' s why stock prices do not move at random. They never do. In active counters, stock prices are controlled by the resident monkey. When he is in the driver' s seat. Where stock prices really move at random, these are the dead stocks. Many penny counters become dead stocks when the resident monkey left and decided never to return. Which is why if you play a penny stock and the monkey run road, you throw back first and ask questions later. Or all your troops will become prisoners of war. Forever.

x 1   x 0  Alert Admin	But then again, no action here does not mean no action elsewhere also. Of late, SingTel has not been tradeable. This is one stock which for most of us, we are stuck and we are waiting for her to start her expedition to the North Pole. But whilst waiting for this ship to set sail, good thing for me is that SGX has been moving within a range which though narrow, yet still offers some room to make 2 to 5 bids for those who dare to date her. I dated her on Tues at pre-closing when she was throwing a 5-min SALE at 7.40. Today, somebody offered me 5 bids to take my place as her date. I said okay and I let go of her hand.    So for today, my breakfast, lunch & dinner, petrol, parking, internet connection, mobile connection expenses all taken care of ler.
