Nice analysis there. this why i say its a layman logic.
When we take about westerner economy, this is always right. because of ang moh thinking is always logical and straight forward. but when talking about china, its a totally different culture. the business environment also affects it.
china govt doing wat a lot of govt doing by giving grants to companies to advance technology... buy do u know where all that money has gone to???
if u been to china for business u understand their "system" of working.
as i said b4, if there is profit... they will be there alrdy. there is no stopping them.
talking is useless. by next year we will see valuetronic position in the market. predict also useless. like sgx is always so strange. companies make profit drop price. those make losses price up...

Hi thanks for reading my report, But basic business strategy and economic theory goes as the following: 1) Segment A (in this case the low end LED segment) profit margin falling and competition increasing. 2) Those who remains in Segment A can only wait for consolidation where big businesses eat up small businesses 3) Businesses in Segment A, who want to survive, will start to move into other segment (In this context, the premium LED market) to escape competition and seek of better margin. 4) To move into other segments entail investment in better technology of course and Chinese Gov has been giving out heavy subsidies in this area. I don' t make claims without logic.

Read ur report. Partly correct base on layman assumtion. U must understand China factories b4 saying that they will start producing premium LED for no reason. This is unlikly the way down the road. 1) China manufacturers pride themselves doing cheap LED. Asking them to use premium tech is assuming they have the expertise and the willingness to do it. Like asking China to build a stealth fighter plane which failed. 2) China production cost is raising. This could eat into their competitiveness and make them unwilling to invest in a higher quality product. 3) I believe if the China man wans to produce premium LED... They would have done it years ago, ignoring those patent laws. " There is a will, ther is a way" thats when there is real profit there then u sure see China at the front of that line. Otherwise, They rather invest their time somewhere else.

got heavy drop to 0.44 before meh? the next biggest drop besides today is on 25th july.. i look at my iocbc chart, seems like 44 is support.. reuters charts adjust the price for those stocks that have placement, dividend etc.. so dunno which chart should look at to get the support price lol.. it looks weak, so i probably gonna wait.. the big sell queue at 445 may be a way from BB to collect & force ppl to throw lower.. so who knows, maybe will rebound back..

The last time heavy drop also supported at 0.44 then bounce up all the way till 0.5x plus

dont have any news from SGX.. we are just at the mercy of BB.. no need bad news or good news.. if they want push up or down, they can fry us retailers upside down.. maybe institutions are locking their profit, afterall, it has rise so much over the year.. even if fundamentals support it, price will have fluctuations, ppl still also need take profit..

wa bro.. brave.. good luck.. sometimes it' s hard to see if a support will break or not.. i keep seeing buy queue topping up just now at 455 despite so much selling, thought may hold, but looking at today seems will be a long black candle with massive selling, so i hold myself from jeeping.. probably i may wait at the 100DMA & support around 40-41 region.. see how

the fundamentals do support the rise i think.. not just some crazy run for no reason.. im very tempted to jeep ' cos the buy queue keep topping up at 455 despite sellers keep selling, and 455 is at the support range.. but think i just gonna wait, though i got a feeling i will regret later haha..

i think 45/455 is the support, so it has been loitering and holding with buy queue topping up despite sellers keep selling.. but dunno if it will hold or not.. i probably will wait at 40, but probably just dreaming lol..
