Warrants trade at a premium..IE warrant price + subscription
.most of the time is higher then mother share..
..
What you see now is an anomaly..
I believe it wíll trend towards a premium as we approach 22 July.....the date the warrant is convertible to mother share...
So hang on to it
.any way the volume of free float warrant is about80 million only.
As most will keep warrant tight tight...because this is at a discount. N gearing n leverage will show as it approach july 22..
I stand to be corrected...

Is it possible that the price of warrant be higher than the mother share? Say warrant is 50 cents, mother is 49 cents?

If you have done nothing. After getting the bonus warrens..your break even price is 34 CTS plus warrants worth 6 CTS..200 free warrants at 19 CTS by then...
on the other hand if you have sold your mother share n buy equivalent $$pf warrants..say at 8 CTS wRrents..mother share traded at low of 23 CTS,.
This 23 cents can buy u 3 warranted at that time..so you will have 3.2 wRrents ...at around 12.81 wàrrent price you have broke even a few days ago..off course this is estimated at theoretical prices without brokerages..

Reasons for Seatrium share consolidation. Info for those who may have invested in both Seatrium and DM:- RATIONALE FOR THE PROPOSED SHARE CONSOLIDATION The Directors believe that the Proposed Share Consolidation will generally be beneficial to the Company and its Shareholders for the following reasons: 3.1 Reduction of volatility of the Company&rsquo s share price The Shares of the Company were traded on the Mainboard of the SGX-ST in the range of S$0.086 and S$0.146 in the past six months. As share trading may involve certain minimum fixed expenses (such as minimum brokerage fees), trading in lowly-priced shares may translate to higher transaction costs, relative to the trading price, for each trading of one board lot of Shares. In addition, lowly-priced shares are generally more prone to speculation and market manipulation, which may result in excessive share price volatility. The Directors believe that the Proposed Share Consolidation may serve to (i) reduce the volatility of the Company&rsquo s share price and reduce fluctuations in the Company&rsquo s market capitalisation and (ii) reduce the percentage transaction cost for trading in each board lot of Shares. 3.2 Increase in the market interest and attractiveness of the Company The Proposed Share Consolidation will rationalise the share capital of the Company by reducing the number of issued Shares. Following the Proposed Share Consolidation, the Directors expect that, all other things being equal, the theoretical trading price and net tangible asset value (&ldquo NTA&rdquo ) of each Consolidated Share would be higher than that of the current trading price and NTA of each Existing Share, taking into account the decrease in the number of Shares in issue following the Proposed Share Consolidation. In addition, the Proposed Share Consolidation may facilitate corporate actions and increase market interest and activity in the Shares, and generally make the Shares more attractive to investors.
