This was why they did the darn silly PERPS, IMHO. Due to bad debt provision and investment in non-performing initiatives, its share proce took a severe and quick tumble. Just like any other stock, price goes down fast, but takes a long time to go back up again. GS is much better now compared to a few yrs ago. It has reduced bad debt, manages VIP credit risk better and channel resources from non performing to higher margin initiatives. I hope the management has learnt a painful lesson. Even though the past two Qs were very good, it is quite a long way still to gain the full confidence of investors. The next two Q results are critical. It has to show continued good profits with solid results from non gaming segments as well. If it can achieve that, than I would think $1.5 is indeed a fair value. DYODD
