not vested...but in my personal opinion this stock seems OK.... the mgt team is experienced.....their casino and theme parks businesses are healthy..... their jurong hotel will be ready soon may be next yr....they are already in korea....expansion activities in japan.....etc.......full of energy....... just pray hard it can closed above $1.30....... happy 49th national day......cheers....... |

Aug. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Hong Kong stocks declined, with the benchmark index falling for a second day, as casino shares slid. The benchmark Hang Seng Index dropped 0.6 percent to 24,442.33 as of 9:31 a.m. in Hong Kong. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index of mainland shares traded in the city, also known as the H-share index, lost 0.3 percent to 10,943.70. The H-share gauge fell the past two days as investors took profits after the measure surged more than 20 percent from its March low and entered a so-called bull market last week. The gauge traded at 7.6 times estimated earnings yesterday, compared with multiples of 11.4 for the Hang Seng Index and 16.1 for the Standard & Poor&rsquo s 500 Index. China is scheduled to release July trade data tomorrow, with economists forecasting exports accelerated to 7.3 percent, while imports slowed to 3 percent growth from 5.5 percent the previous month. A private gauge of the nation&rsquo s services industry fell to a record low, data showed this week. China will promote mixed-ownership reform for state-owned banks, the National Business Daily reported, citing China Banking Regulatory Commission Chairman Shang Fulin. Futures on the S& P 500 added 0.1 percent today. The U.S. benchmark index was little changed yesterday as declines in Sprint Corp. and Time Warner Inc. on failed deals offset gains in consumer-staples shares. Standard Chartered Plc fell 0.8 percent. The London-based lender, which gets about three-quarters of its earnings in Asia, said it faces further U.S. fines over efforts to block money laundering and posted a 20 percent earnings decline on losses in Asia. |
