It is more affected by the global market condition. Just sharing the lower current ratio which is a public information. Probably it was just an oversight and unware of the lower cash holding. Anyway, don' t think it affect much. SembCorp' s creditors will always give chance or they can pull money from other accounts.. | ||||

Good to have SBB. But SembCorp' s debt payment is eating into its cash flows and the present current ratio at 0.8 is the lowest since 02. A good and healthy company should have a current ratio of 1.5 according to the books

Sembcorp to be on MSCI S' pore Index from Sept 114 Aug 2023 09:00
By Ven Sreenivasan Associate Editor & Sembcorp Industries, which has outperformed the broader market, will be included in the MSCI Singapore Index with effect from Sept 1. The index is designed to measure the performance of the large- and mid-capitalisation segments of the Singapore market. Sembcorp will make up one of 22 constituents of the index, which covers approximately 85 per cent of the free float-adjusted market capitalisation of the Singapore equity market, the company announced on Friday. The inclusion follows a steady climb in Sembcorp' s stock price over the past three months, taking its market value past the $10 billion mark this week. |
