The 10-year Treasury yield fell to its lowest level since February on Tuesday amid signs that the economic recovery from the pandemic could be slowing. While economic growth boomed in the first half of 2021 and is set to keep expanding rapidly the rest of the year, investors digested signals that much of the comeback has already occurred. The latest numbers showed growth in the service sector of the economy slowed by more than expected in June from a record level the prior month. This follows a tick-up in the unemployment rate on Friday. &ldquo All that seems to be implying that perhaps not only was the inflation transitory, but maybe some of the growth has been transitory,&rdquo Kathy Jones, Schwab&rsquo s chief fixed income strategist, told CNBC. The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note fell 7.2 basis points to 1.36% at 4:00 p.m. ET. The note reached hit a low of 1.351% at one point, its lowest level since Feb. 24 when it yielded as low as 1.330%. The yield on the 30-year Treasury bond was 6.4 basis points lower at 1.986%. Yields move inversely to prices. One basis point is 0.01%. |

Btw HLA subsidiary China Yuchai Intl listed in the NYSE recently paid a big fat dividends of usd1.70, its stock price was usd15 thereabout then when announcing dividends. |

Someone PM me for a target on Hong Leong Asia and I also know another member did queue to buy but dunno manage to buy anything or not, therefore I will share it here.. Before I posted my purchased of HLA I did look at the long term chart besides the daily chart. I also read about DBS tp of 1.14 and UOBKH 1.38 target. There was two historical low at 0.50 and 0.35 in 2001 and 2009 respectively and in both past bull runs it went up a few dollars from its low. I am not saying it will rally that much this time too. Even a consecutive rally like the one in 2001 to 1.70 which is not even the high was already a 1.20 moved, and if that is the case now, then 1.55(0.35 low at 1.20) also possible but no, I wont ask for this much yet. Even if I just aga aga used the average price target between DBS and UOB will also get 1.26(1.14+1.38= 2.52/2 = 1.26) My stronger resistance is around 1.22/1.25 area, so perhaps this is my immediate target price that I will sell some. Its not a big ask if you see its monthly chart, just like a minor bull move only. And then we monitor its FA, result announcement etc to see if can be greedy to keep some for higher target.Or if the chart continue to show upward momentum. But if one is contented then take profit lor as long as make $$, maybe will have minor resistance at 1.13/1.17 area All the bre@st.
