The Kartek Monkey then continued to exert his authority by selling and he hammered the  price back down from 3.42 to 3.37 over the last 2 days. But funds kept coming out to buy and this has helped the price to stay  at the  3.37 to 3.42 range. So this Kartek Monkey must be feeling rather frustrated and wondering if funds will continue to frustrate him by coming out to buy to keep the price at this range. Each time he hammers it down, funds push it back up. Macam like giving the Kartek Monkey a taste of his own medicine lidat. Good.  Now I am waiting to see if the Kartek Monkey will persevere and call on his reserves to continue this whacking game. I think he was counting on breaking the long term support at 3.30 to create fear and panic amongst long term holders to throw. Panic selling will help the Kartek Monkey' s cause. But if funds continue to come out in succession to buy to support the price, and the buying is strong enough, it may well force this Kartek Monkey to settle for Plan B where he will still make money but make lesser. I suppose alot will depend on what the smart money wants to do at Wall Street in the next 2 to 3 weeks. If they decide that the Recent LOWs have established where the bottom is and it is time to re-start the engine of this die die dont want to die raging bull, then the broader market will see a return of the rising tide. This will make even more funds come out to stock up on SingTel for long term. Their combined buying coupled with buying from institutions, investors and traders will force the Kartek Monkey to call it a wrap. But if smart money at Wall Street is planning for another final leg down to end the correction, this will be tail wind for the Kartek Monkey as funds will certainly observe a ceasefire if a strong ill-wind blows our way.

If you are in for the stock market you have to weigh in your risk appetite, go for the most suitable approach. Reminder: SingTel is SGX' s biggest cap, and a component stock. It will not fail. There are many buyers waiting..
