the valuation is highly dependent on the production volume, as higher production volume translate to higher earnings and better return. Currently, market does not buy its story even it is net cash company but dun know how to maximise its profit or value.

BBs dump? the Company has no intention to initiate share buyback. Geo Energy need to increase production volume to 12-15mil tons, then it will look more attractive. In the meantime, expansion or acquisition plan still in sleeping mode and no further update from management. Any possibility to be privatised and delisted from SGX? maybe price offer around $0.3+? as market no longer favor in dirty energy in current era.

saw an article that coal miners in china are closing shop due to over supply.. dont know how true.. but the fact that rising force of renewable energy combining of the russian and aussie coals.. sounds very true.. anyway investing at the current price of geo looks attractive for now provided that the financials are real.. fingers crossed.somewhow i feel that there are something amiss which shortisits know and retailers kept in the dark.the shorts are simply amazing.. Develop coal mines but not using coal they produced and export out.
Then penalised countries (or carbon emission quota) who use coal (maybe their coal).
Where is the logic? Green energy?

Some say profit goin to drop cos cointries goin to buy vely exp oil instead of chip coal. many countries can talk but goin bankerlup, where got mony to buy energy if not chip coal. geo has so much cash reserve, even if make little profit, no problem cont giv qtrly div. look at jiutian, even make 1Q loss, but give super good div omos 1c, cos got cash reserve wat. |
