My take on this is that BBs pushing the price down to pick up cheap before 3Q results announcement in Nov. Post results announcement NC should pick up fast, albeit subject to overall market and macro factors. |

Dual listing is good for co. that need extra funds for its operations or for expansion. But NC doesn' t need more funds and only want the exposure and prestige (according to them) so I hope they are able to deploy the funds wisely. I think they will but one never know. Given their track record, I' m not too worried. 
Most O& G and O& M stocks are being brutally punished today. Horrible day. |

I am not sure if the news of the triple-listing is a good one in the first place given that it is going to significantly dilute existing shareholders

The Board of Directors of Nam Cheong Limited (the " Company" ) refers to a news article published by The Edge Malaysia on 20 October 2014 titled " Nam Cheong weighs Bursa, Oslo listings" . The Company wishes to clarify that the Board has yet to deliberate or make any decision on dual&ndash listing. The Company has also not appointed any professionals for this purpose. In the event any plans are made, the Board will make necessary disclosure by way of announcements accordingly. Shareholders and other investors are reminded to exercise caution when dealing with the Company' s securities. In the event that Shareholders and other investors are in doubt when dealing in the Company' s securities, they should consult their stockbrokers, bank managers, solicitors, accountants or other professional advisers. |

The stock is having a really tough time breaking out of 41c. Market expectations of record performance in 3Q results are high so actual results will have to be very good to move the price up. Need to be patient. |

True, it seems almost impossible for dual or triple listing without issuance of new stock. Just can' t be done due to the vol required. But, whatever it is, I am holding on to my NC stocks as I believe something good will happen. So far, NC has not made a bad decision or move in the last 2 to 3 years. I have great respect for their management and execution. |

The article only said the intend to triple list is to raise brand awareness and not to raise cash. It did say it will mean a major dilution for existing shareholders ie new shares will be issues. The process will inevitable raise cash and can be used to reduce debts, for working capital, etc. There is no official annoucement from NCL. How did fools get this?

I think its a definite good thing as the stock has access to investors in three markets and yet there is no dilution of per stock value. The best of 3 worlds really. That probably means massive buyback of stock by the company to facilitate the stocks for the other markets or some other action that could be a plus to existing investors. This is looking better every minute. (I could well be tunnel visioned, so plse correct me if I' m wrong)

In this interview with edge of malaysia it stated that no additional shares will be generated. So would it be good or bad? Im abit skeptical about what news have reported cause the truth always comes out at the end |

Really hope that the increase in shrs will not erode value for existing investors. I normally dislike it when a co issue massive no of additional shr but if the company is able to use the cash generated to expand its business and not squander it away, its a positive move. Judging from NC track record, there is a good chance it will proceed responsibly. Thanks for posting the useful article. Helped keep us informed
